Lovely bright clean modern little hotel room/apartment right in the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful check-in, and a great left luggage locker service if you need to leave your bags after you check out. We stayed in the small apartment and it had a nice bright bedroom with plenty storage, tv, tea and coffee making facilities and air con. This leads on to a small modern kitchen area which has the basics you need for two people (plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses and cups, puts and pans, bottle opener, etc.) - we were only there for one night but could easily imagine spending a week there and cooking sometimes. The bathroom was also clean and modern and bright with soap and shower gel/shampoo provided. The apartment had high ceilings and big windows which let in a lot of light and had beautiful old wooden shutters for when you needed the shut it out. The lovely old building is very central for visiting and shopping and right beside Bolhao metro which goes to the bus & train stations and airport and pretty much everywhere else. You are provided with a Portuguese mobile which is loaded with apps and info for getting around and finding things to do and 30 minutes calling credit. There are two little supermarkets either side of the apartment for supplies. There was some noise if people were coming up and down the wooden stairs or cleaning in the morning, but overall it was very quiet & I slept well without earplugs. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
