After weeks of research, my husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The reviews gave us a glimpse of what to expect, but none of them truly captured the experience.
The Kayon is a blend of breathtaking scenery, serenity, warm energy, and genuinely attentive staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with a refreshing drink and a thoughtful overview of the amenities—shuttles to Ubud Center and their sister property, Kayon Jungle; daily walks; yoga classes; guided tours; nightly performances; an incredible breakfast; and so much more.
When we reached our room, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated bed and a small honeymoon cake. The room itself was perfect for two, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub overlooking our private infinity pool, also decorated for the occasion. The outdoor area became our favorite place to unwind, nap, or simply take in the view. Although our room was located at the bottom of a small hill, we could request a golf cart at any time to take us anywhere on the property.
We enjoyed breakfast, poolside lunches, dinners, spa treatments, and a hotel-organized tour—each experience felt unique and memorable. The property is stunning, but what truly elevates this hotel is its people. The staff made us feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for during every moment of our stay.
