Everything was absolutely amazing and very well executed, except for the executive lounge. I found the afternoon snacks and beverages lacking. I was expecting to see a commercial fridge with options of fruit and veggies/dip, tortilla chips/salsa, cut up sandwiches - healthier options that were Vancouver/local supportive. Instead I arrived to mini bags of sun chips, rolled gold pretzels, cans of Pepsi and literal children’s candy. $150 is not worth the cost and I’m hoping they’ll improve this offering or drop the price severely. The executive lounge itself was lovely, well decorated and wonderful colour combinations but not at the level that demands anything over $40. The rooftop hot tub and fitness area is too notch and has a great view, almost 360. Another great attribute is the casino has no affect on the hotel operations, it easy to bring children through without much hassle and it’s quiet. Honey Salt is a happening place, very well patroned, the restaurant is gorgeous and everyone is happy when you look in. Valet parking was seamless and efficient, staff worked like a well oil machine. Lobby staff were the stars of the show, they were on their best game and the most attentive group I’ve seen in a while. All the gentlemen working in valet, concierge and reception were extremely well manned, polite and serious about their guests, impressive actually.
