10/10 Exceptional

Great location and very easy to find. Staff were really, really friendly. Check in was smooth and professional. Great spacious car parking. Room was spotless and the bed gave me one of my better sleeps. Breakfast was self service buffet style and provided all the ingredients of a varied Turkish breakfast. Met a few overseas hikers using the hotel as a base to visit Mt Nemrut. The restaurant in the evening ( alcohol served ) took your order and sent out for it. Some may find this strange but from my experience offers the best, fresh options. I used the hotel as a stepping stone to visit Isak Pasha castle and Noah’s Ark. Definitely value for money.

6/10 Good

The curtains are useless and the room remains very bright during the night. I found the pillows very uncomfortable (they are very thick). I found the room very hot and the heater couldn't be turned off. No table or desk where to sit comfortably with the laptop. The staff is very helpful. Very good location. Easy to find and to park.

Good option on highway and near bus statio

Stayed only one night during transit. Smooth check-in. Friendly helpful staff. Nice clean room at front of building facing highway. Some road noise with window open but good sound proofing when closed. Good view of Mt Ararat from top floor terrace. Drinks available from front terrace. Nice shower. Bed was a bit hard. Good breakfast. Dolmuş available to town and palace, both of which are interesting. 10-15 min walk to bus station. Good value for money.

Decent hotel, beautiful terrace

Ertur Hotel is not really a boutique hotel but a very clean place with very helpful staff and owner. Its terrace is overlooking magnificent Mount Ararat and one wishes the rooms would also had the same gorgeous view. The owner Mr, Eryilmaz acted more like a host accompanying us to see the Ishak Pasha Palace and invited us to a wonderful dining on the terrace. The breakfast was also decent and wholesome. Overall, it was a nice experience especially the way in which the staff was helpful.

10/10 Exceptional

We were happy with our stay here. The room/bathroom were very clean & the shower had hot water with good pressure. Although the duvet felt thin, it kept us warm. Wifi was not strong in the room (we'd read a previous review about this so we hadn't expected wifi) but was strong in the halls & reception (which has comfortable seating). Staff were helpful. Close to the bus station & easy to get into town for food/transport to palace.

Clean room. Professional & courteous staff. Nice off-street parking. Decent breakfast. Room could use an additional lighting or two. Very slow wi-fi was the only real minus, but a big one, as the entire city area did not seem to have a great cellular coverage, either.

Hotel not as advertised

Advertised as having a view of Mount Ararat from the room. This was untrue. Also advertised as having a restaurant. This was also untrue, but they had breakfast. No restaurant within walking distance so had to buy snacks from a garage.
