Amazing little place right off the highway! Very clean, owner was great and very helpful! Perfect spot for a quick over night, or longer stay.

This place is a gem. Not much in Kennebec, true, but that makes it quiet and safe. The best part was that the air conditioning unit has a Night Mode where the fan actually stays on with a nice steady sound so you can SLEEP with the unit on. This is also a dog-friendly property and it was good for our dog ... grass to walk on, etc. Super clean! The manager was very nice and super responsive. Check out the neat earrings his wife makes ... for sale in the office.

The room reeked of mothballs. Talked to other guests who had same reaction. Otherwise bed comfy and room clean. Tolerated the smell for the one night.

The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The beds, however, weren't as comfortable as I thought from sitting on them. Both were pretty hard to sleep on comfortably. My spouse & I had trouble relaxing on the mattress. Neither of us felt rested the next morning.

Super cute, small motel, with smallish rooms, but very clean, comfy bed, and everything I needed for an overnight stay while travelling. The owner is friendly and helpful. I'll be staying again!!

Overall it was a good stay. Very nice manager. It was clean, it smelled a little stale and the wall fan/ac unit needed cleaned. The bed was not super comfortable, however the pillows were good. Good water pressure for the shower. Very convenient, overall a good experience.

There's a heater in the bathroom and a recliner in the room. There is a bar and gas station within walking distance and though off the highway, still quiet.

King's Inn is conveniently off I90, and a great bargain compared to locations in Pierre. It's a small place, but the owners are friendly, the rooms modest, my needs met on a budget.

When traveling with two dogs I am always limited. I will not go to a motel that charges more than $10 per dog. This place fit the bill, but I got there and was totally surprised. The place, while old, was awesome! The owner has taken very good care of the place and renovated very well. I will certainly stay here again!
