May bank holiday short stays

Just back from a 3 night bank holiday break. We just needed a base as we planned to visit Port Aventura theme park. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Location was great, just a short walk away from the main strip where there are bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is also a short walk. Taxi’s were easy to get from the hotel and only a 10 min drive to Port Aventura. Bar staff in the hotel were friendly and service was quick. Entertainment great for young children, staff work hard to entertain guest. The Pool is a good size and lots of space. Could be heated though as it was like an ice bath. Room was nice and comfortable, small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and kettle. Made service cleaned and made beds but did not restock tea & coffee, however a quick request to reception fixed this. Lots of storage space and a safe available for €10 refundable deposit. No iron in the room, and only 3 plug sockets, 1 in the bathroom, 2 in the kitchenette and one in the sofa area. None in the bedroom. We had a side pool view. Didn’t eat in the restaurant therefore cannot comment on food however we did get a Pizza in the pool bar which was nice and the cocktails were so good!

Séjour agréable avec enfants

Chambre familiale très confortable avec sa chambre séparée du salon. Buffet avec un large choix (destiné particulièrement aux enfants), animations sympathiques, notamment en soirée. Piscine chauffée pratique au mois d'octobre, car la piscine extérieure était beaucoup trop froide.

Would definately stay here again. Good location to everything, friendly staff, rooms spacious and clean. Only negative that could be made right was there was only 1 mirror (not ideal when in the bathroom when everyone getting ready for a night out) and also no plug sockets in the extra bedroom. Apart from that excellent and would recommend this accomodation

Wir waren zwei Nächte in dem Hotel zu Gast. Von Außen sieht das Hotel, durch die Gitter an den Balkonen, nicht sehr einladend aus. Das Zimmer war sehr alt und Renovierungsbedürftig. Schön war, dass es für unsere Kinder ein separates Zimmer gab und man somit ausreichend Platz hatte. Unser Ausblick, zwischen den verrosteten Gittern auf den Pool, war nicht so schön. Ein Kaninchen Draht wurde zusätzlich an den Balkonen installiert (als rausfallschutz?). Dieser Draht hatte überall spitze Kanten und war ebenso alt und verrostet. Das Bad war leider nicht sehr sauber. Der Stöpsel in der Badewanne war abgerissen, die Armaturen sehr alt, die Glasscheibe an der Badewanne hatte keine Gummidichtung, deshalb wurde beim duschen das halbe Bad unter Wasser gesetzt. Allgemein war das Zimmer SEHR dunkel und es kam bei uns kein Gefühl von Urlaub auf. Das Essen im riesigen, fensterlosen Speisesaal ist in Ordnung, es gibt von allem etwas, viel frittiertes, Wasser beim Abendessen ist kostenlos (top!). Beim Frühstück muss man nach dem Wasser fragen, sonst findet man nur stark gezuckerte Säfte sowie Kaffee. Im Großen und ganzen kann man sagen, dass das Hotel größtenteils auf britisches Publikum ausgelegt ist und man dies auch deutlich merkt. Animation, vor allem am Abend, war super! Wir haben uns von den vielen positiven Bewertungen mehr versprochen und waren am Ende froh, nur zwei Tage dort gewesen zu sein.

Fabulous stay!!

Lovely hotel, really good for small kids & the staff were brilliant. My 13yr old daughter loved the night entertainment, best i have ever seen on a family holiday. Bed was not very comfortable but that was the only thing I would say negative. I would love to stay again but I feel it’s more for families with small kids & not teenagers. Loved our stay, thanks so much to all the staff who work so hard & without them it wouldn’t be the same.

Fab family hotel, really caters well for children. Pools were lovely and staff very friendly. Great location Only negative is people putting towels on the sun loungers then disappearing for half the day, often blocking 4 or 5 chairs together in the best position

Amazing Hotel. Staff are lovely. Hard working. Rooms are spacious. Double bed very comfy. Great that there is a separate bedroom. Shower powerful. Excellent choice of Food at Breakfast {English bacon}. Evening Meal Choice was Great. Plenty of choice & very Nice.
