Don’t, just don’t. Trust me.

Let me start off by saying I rarely post a review. I’m a business owner and it really sucks to get a bad review so if it’s really not that bad, I don’t post about it. I just chalk it up to bad circumstances and leave it alone. However, this was quite possibly the worst resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in the door. There was an insane amount of sales pressure to purchase a timeshare of some sort at this property. If I was trying to sell a timeshare, I would make sure the property was clean adequately staffed, and comfortable for paying guests. When we first walked into the room, it was clean overall, but very old, tons of mosquitoes flying around the room, and the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Prior to our arrival I requested to not be placed next to families that had children and paid for an upgraded room that would allow for such accommodations. We booked a swim out room and our neighbors had five children. The term “swim out” is very deceiving. You share one very small pool with the ground floor neighbors. This is not a pool that connects to the rest of the resort. The photos of this resort overall are very misleading. I promise you it does not look like that when you get there and you will be highly disappointed. Dinner is a whole other story again if you wanted your guest to purchase a timeshare, wouldn’t it make sense that dinner reservations were made for them at arrival. There was no welcome drink as mentioned. It was complete chao

The rooms paint was damaged from water seeping through the walls. The ac was not working in our unit and we notified at 830 pm and did not get a new room until 1130 pm. The hot water did not work at times and also the water was cut off for short periods of time on multiple days. The arcade where kids would’ve loved to play was mostly inoperable. The only thing that worked was the VR which you had to pay extra for. The bars were very limited. They only had liquor from DR that tasted horrible. The speciality restaurants were mostly booked because they were so small and the only option was the buffet so you were forced to eat there every day. The beef that they claimed was beef did not taste like beef at all. The jacuzzi which you would assume would be a hot tub was not hot at all. The pools were very cold most days. The WiFi was spotty at best and the tv only played local channels which would be fine if you were able to get a solid connection which most days we were not. The staff hounded you at the buffet entrance to ask you questions and get you to sit through a presentation to buy a room there. They had a members only bar that seemed decent but was not accessible to anyone but members understandably but that should be a paid option because the bar in there was nicer than the rest. The beach area was nice but seemed rundown. The chairs were falling apart. Overall I would not stay here again. Just based off the condition of the property and how many problems we had.
