The San Francisco location looked like a derelict building. There was at least one large window that was boarded over. There were several unhoused people either loitering around the entrance or actively laying in the entrance.
I never even got out of the car, just ‘nope’d out and drove into the alley around the block that seemed safer than the hotel entrance and called somewhere else. The listing showed parking available - no. Parking exists, but you need to find it yourself, there is no designated space or garage and I wouldn’t have left the rental on that street.
They will not refund me, even though I never checked in. But honestly, I’d pay the 200 and change to not stay there since it was so off putting from the street.
Maybe the rooms are nice, but I wouldn’t know. Best of luck if you book at SF downtown location - really it should say ‘Mission’ not downtown, but then no one would book it.
