Basic lodge in Healy, about 20 mins from entrance to Denali National Park. There are two lodge buildings, and we stayed in the one on the right when you drive onto the property. There was nobody working the office, but we were left an envelope with keys for check-in. When we arrived late the first night, the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke or vape - not sure which - and there was a group of loud folks upstairs in the open area at the top of the stairs. The lobby tended to smell like cigarettes or body odor throughout the stay; however, the rooms were clean and smelled fine. They actually provide housekeeping service which is very nice! Breakfast in the room fridge is go-gurt, boiled eggs, clementines, and fruit/grain bars along with juice boxes. Oatmeal packets, water, and coffee are in the lobby.

Friendly, helpful staff. Location was good. The ice machine was very low on ice day one and day two, no ice. The coffee machine in the room had white particles floating in the water reservoir. However, drinks and snacks were very reasonably priced.

Very clean, nice. Sink did not drain properly, but staff fixed promptly when notified. Good, friendly service.

Overall a great experience. The room was comfortable and the breakfast bowls were great for taking on the drive to Denali so we could hike as much as possible. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the deck is VERY slick when frosted and I fell hard departing on the final morning of our stay. A sign or warning its that slick would be helpful.

Very nice facility, clean and quiet, small breakfast in the refrigerator in each room, snacks to purchase, front desk staff was very nice. Overall great value and place to stay!

The woman at the host desk was incredibly helpful and sweet. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. I was able to borrow an extension cord for the engine warmer which was great! All in all, there's nothing I can think of that would have improved my experience at Aurora Denali Lodge. Highly recommend to everyone!
