Todo bien hasta que no.

Todo estuvo maravilloso pero al final en recepción cuando volví a rectificar sobre hasta que hora podía estar en las instalaciones, la recepcionista me lo hizo ver como una excepción puesto que el concierge que me apoyó en mi estancia me comentó que podía estar hasta las 3 pm. El check out del cuarto lo hicimos a las 12 no estaba preguntando por late check out. Trabajo en el turismo, un tiempo trabajé por cinco años en recepción y una de las básicas de servicio es internamente verificar y no decirle o hacerle ver al cliente que no le crees y remarcarle que es una excepción. Eso casi me deja un mal sabor de boca.

We loved everything about the property! Especially our host, Janet, who arranged all of our incredible excursions for us, and even had a nice bath waiting when we got home. We felt like every meal was delicious. There were no shortage of options and we really felt like we were living in luxury. Also recommend the excursion with zip lining ATB rides in cave swimming. Also, the Mixology class was awesome! We can’t wait to go back.

Everything on the property was amazing. Everything was very well maintained and clean. The only issue was the seaweed but I know that is not the fault of the resort. We would have liked to get in the ocean however. Our poolside waiter, Marcos, was absolutely awesome. Our concierge, Daisy, was also absolutely awesome. The restaurants were great especially the Asian place. I wish it was closer to Cancun proper so we could have gone to the markets or something like that but that was not an option. There were not many tours offered either. We wanted to go see the pyramids but there was no tour for that. The pool was also very warm, bordering on hot. I think if the resort would build some sort of shade over the pool it will make it much more enjoyable. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it to my friends.

My husband and I came for a kid free relaxing vacation and the Unico 2087 did not disappoint. We got a swim out room behind one of the main pools and it was a prime location. Not super private if that’s what you are looking for. But we loved the location. The pool waiter would come by and get us drinks and food. We especially love Daniel and Saul made the best drinks. We would enjoy the main pools in the morning and head to our room pool in the afternoon. We were close enough to the main pool we could still enjoy the music. One of my favorite parts of the day was the crafts the resort put on daily. We painted sunsets and did some bead work. It was lots of fun and gave us neat souvenirs. As for the food it was some of the best food we have ever had on vacation. We tried every restaurant but our two favorites were the Mexican restaurant and the Japanese restaurant. Overall if you are looking for an adults only relaxing vacation we great food this is the resort for you.

The staff, especially our concierge Eduardo was amazing. The food and drinks were also. The property was small and underwhelming for nighttime activities. They also did nothing to combat the obscene piles of seaweed that suffocated the beach and the nauseating smell was so overwhelming on parts of the resort that it literally made me vomit.

Drinks were so watered down. Staff was unwelcoming especially at the restaurants. Beach full of seaweed. It should definitely be a disclosure on the website because I love the beach. Don’t advertise something that we cannot use. We were harassed to sign up for time share/ loyalty program plus all the other promotions starting at the airport. The representatives were so pushy and would not stop calling our phones. Plz be prepared for that. Spa is overly priced and you won’t get the full amount of time. Bar that was supposed to close at 2 closed at midnight. We were kicked out of our swim up pool because it opens/closed at the same time the pool does. Like really? First time getting that so maybe that’s how they all do it , but if that’s the case, it is definitely not worth the extra 200+ dollars. It took housekeeping over three hours to bring us more towels that I had to go out and search for them myself. The air conditioner kept going out. Room service was unavailable and not as advertised . Please please please save your coins. This was by far one of my worst experiences on a resort and made my desire to travel to mexico disinclined. Terrible, terrible, terrible . from the staff to the amenities. From the food to the drinks, just an overall terrible experience please if I could give this place a negative infinity I would.
