Mi piacerebbe raccontare di una bella giornata in un posto immerso nella natura lontano dal frastuono della città...... ma purtroppo nulla di tutto ciò’. Nonostante la prenotazione effettuata in precedenza si erano “dimenticati” di avvertirmi della mancanza di camere per il pernottamento..... per fortuna di norma chiamo sempre la sera prima della partenza per conferma. Que de demander de plus ! Un grand merci au charmant propriétaire de cette demeure splendide. Il nous a même narré l'histoire de cette ferme réhabilitée avec tous ses trésors. Une vue magnifique de la chambre tenue de façon impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner est le Meilleur de tout ceux que nous avons pu prendre en Sicile. Pas loin du parc naturel régional de la madonnie. Notre grand regret est de ne pas être restés plus d'une nuit.

A wonderful view over a splendid countryside, the sea in the distance. A very helpful staff in a marvelous farmhouse with a history. Most of all we enjoyed the honest and delicious dinners. Home made orange pie for breakfast: what could one ask for more?

Hotel rural en un enclave espectacular.

Hotel rural ubicado en un lugar impresionante y espectacular. Gratificante y acogedor trato por el dueño del establecimiento, Sr. Mateo, persona amable y servicial, al igual que el resto de trabajadores. La cocina de Antonio, espectacular y de calidad. Un lugar para desconectar de todo. La tranquilidad y el silencio campan a sus anchas.

Fantastic location, helpful owners.

My wife and I stayed for one night with our two small dogs as we were travelling. We didn't pick up the owner's message about arrival time so we just turned up late afternoon. The owner and his staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We found our room a little dark, as per Sicilian style and when opening the shutters on the door lost or privacy which was awkward. they were very relaxed about our dogs, they are well behaved but this is not always the case. The chef was brilliant, we are veggies and they produced a spread for us at short notice. The owner has history to the location, they use their own produce from the land, that you can also purchase and have interesting information about olive production etc. It is almost a retreat given its location but for peace and quiet this was fantastic - we would definitely stay again.

Country setting at 370m

Its a bit out of the way but guests will be rewarded with a great experience. Set atop a hill overlooking farmland and the sea, offering spectacular views. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff were exceptional and the optional dinner was the best we had in all of Sicily. The olive oil produced on the property was first grade. A stay here will leave a lasting impression.

Great rural location with spectacular views.

The fairly tortuous route to this wonderful property atop a hill with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, near distant sea and local farms, well worth the effort, especially when greeted by helpful, friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and private, sleeping easy, occasionally being punctuated by the sound of cow bells from moving cattle, sunrise and sunsets amazing. The food prepared by the owner/ chef was to die for, and it was a great location for hikes, and to execute forays to Palermo and nearby Cefalu.

Het verblijf was erg prettig. De eigenaar spreekt Engels waardoor communicatie makkelijk is. Het personeel is zeer gastvrij. We hebben een paar keer de warme maatlijd genuttigd en dit was lekker en ruim voldoende.

Bel Hôtel à la montagne !

Maison d'hôte très belle avec une superbe vue sur la montagne et la mer au loin. Les logements sont corrects et propres. Un petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et faits maison (confitures, gâteaux...). Le propriétaire des lieux est un homme très sympathique avec la main sur le coeur parlant plusieurs langues. On a eu un accueil très chaleureux. Je recommande vraiment cette maison d'hôte. C'est un dépaysement total pour des citadins parisiens ce qui nous incitera à revenir. On en garde une belle expérience à la montagne avec de bons souvenirs. Seul bémol : N'ayez aucune crainte car le GPS n'indique plus la route à 4 minutes de la maison mais il y a une indication sur la route avant le chemin.
