The staff was the highlight of my stay. The Jamaican people are some of the most vibrant, friendly, creative people I’ve met in a long time. Each of them seemed to genuinely want to have a good time with the guests and make your stay memorable. The food was very good, my favorite spot being Spice, for the hibachi and the sushi.
I stayed in the main building above the restaurants and one of my only complaints is that you could hear the dishes clanking at meal times and when servers were setting up for dinner. So, if you do not want to hear those noises, I would try to book a room in a different building. In the suite I was in you could also hear all the music from the shows that went on in the theater and events in the sports bar. If you aren’t attending the events and are looking for a quiet room, that building is not the best. Overall though I enjoyed my stay and the resort and staff exceeded my expectations. I will be back in the future to explore more of the resort on a longer trip.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars all around is due to some cosmetic issues with the room, the noise from restaurants and events that made it hard to relax on the balcony. Otherwise I have no complaints!
