Gorgeous hotel, yet impressively poorly run. I tried to check in early, and the man at the reception desk informed me that early check-in wasn’t available—which I understood. However, when the standard check-in time of 4:00 PM arrived, I was told it would be just five more minutes. Ten minutes later, I was told it would be another 45 minutes. I was even told I could cancel if I wanted. This is utterly unacceptable. We ended up missing the opening acts of a concert we paid over $1,200 to attend. When we returned to the hotel at 1:30 AM, I was still unable to get into the room. When we finally got in, the air conditioning was broken. Not at all what I’d expect from a Marriott hotel.
