SWINGERS hotel. My husband and I booked here for 7 nights, we only stayed 3 (we had to because of an all day tour that was booked on day 3), we would have checked out on day 2. While the views were STUNNING. We did enjoy the sounds of the ocean each night. We thought this would be perfect to relax. We saw a completely nude man by the pool and several women topless walking around. When we asked about it, they simply said that it was a swingers hotel. NOWHERE could I find that here on hotels.com OR even on the hotels main website. We did really enjoy 2 of their employees. Freddy and Ana were GREAT!! Our room was beautiful but lacking. When I asked for a refund for the 4 nights we were NOT staying there (we booked at an amazing resort nearby), they refused. They said we had to go to hotels.com for the refund. Hotels.com said they needed approval from the hotel. The hotel refused. I was forced to put in a claim with my bank. ALSO... the photos are BEAUTIFUL... the place looks like no one loves it. My husband wouldn't go in the pool because he almost cut his foot on broken tiles at the bottom (they were all over the pool), water pressure was HORRIBLE. Each shower was full of frustration. So many areas seemed broken, or just like the owners/managers simply didn't want to fix them. The elevator was also very old and uncared for. I had hoped this would be the perfect place to relax. We were left disappointed. FOOD was NOT good either. Drinks were ok. We DON'T RECOMMEND!!!

Avoid this hotel at all cost. We left after one night because the hotel was less than a 1 star. Everything was either run down, broken, dirty, or didn't work. On top of all of this, the hotel is a sex hotel where couples have sex with other guest. We didn't realize this until a man kept parading naked in front of his window and while taking a shower, left his curtains open for all to see. This prompted us to look at the hotel's actual website and that's how we found out. We tried to reach out to hotels.com for a refund on the day we arrived, but no luck. We left anyway and won't EVER be using Hotels.com or visiting this resort.

We stayed at Senses by Artisan the 1st week of Dec 2025. The Service Staff like Chewie (nickname) and Pedro, keep the place alive. Its clean, the beaches are beautiful. The room and view were awesome, the beds are comfortable except the pillows(awful). Downside was the front desk staff, it always felt like we were bothering them. You do need to taxi or drive anywhere to see stuff but this didn't bother us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The room really needed updated. Old dirty rugs. Staff was good. Food was very good. Poor selection of alcohol unless you paid alot more. Hotel hallway ceiling fall down last day. Couldn't recommend. Resort fee was an over charge.

If I could leave no stars I would: that place is NOTHING like the pictures. We showed up the pool was cracked up, building rusted, food horrible, and so were the drinks. We checked in went to the room grabbed a bite and a drink and check out immediately!!!!!!! We didn’t even stay one night. AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK! On top of that they don’t even have phones in the room. All convo is through WhatsApp!!!!! DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES AT THIS MOTEL, THEY ARE CALLING A RESORT! AND AGAIN THEY’RE MAKING US PAY FOR NIGHTS WE DIDNT EVEN STAY. VERY LOW BUDGET!

The front staff was rude. I paid for the all inclusive online and was told I didn't and had to pay again at the resort ( so did multiple people during my stay) there is no easy beach access. My husband cut his foot in their broken down pool. 1 beer available and same repetitive food everyday. Just don't do it

Pros- Friendly staff/ attentive staff The room was nice Con’s-The property is very far from anything , certainly for the older crowd, no activities I’m thinking adults only pool parties good drinks definitely not ,when I arrived on the property there was construction men welding the water fountain, the room next door was under construction nosey all day , the pool was blocked halfway due to construction, while in the pool there was a guy on the other side corking and putting new tiles ,hotel is very outdated , although the food was all inclusive it wasn’t very good neither were the drinks … as lovely as the staff were will not be back
