Sound isolation between rooms are generally good. I like the recycling bins in the room as well. The beds and pillows are too soft. The vibe of the lobby is very good, excellent for chatting and chilling. Excellent price/quality ratio.

The personnel was very helpful and offered a new room to me without me asking for it, when the first room wasn't in good enogh state. The hotel also have a perfect location I would say. Second time at Hotel Goldmarie and I would love to stay her again the next time im visiting Berlin.

I had a great stay at Hotel Goldmarie in Berlin. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. A very special thank you to Mrs. Rouhani, who supported us with outstanding kindness and professionalism. Her quick and thoughtful communication made everything incredibly easy and pleasant. We truly appreciated her helpfulness throughout our stay. Highly recommended – we would gladly come back!

Duschbrause an der Decke total verschimmelt Zugang zum Hotel über einen dunklen vermüllten Hof. Rezeption selten besetzt, sehr unfreundlicher Empfang am 12.9. :-( Möbel extrem abgewohnt. Lage in Friedrichshain sehr gut, einziger Pluspunkt!

Dåligt städat. Skräpigt under sängen. Personalen verkade inte vara intresserad av att ha gäster. Lite sunkigt. Helt ok boende om man vill bo centralt i Fredrichschain.

This was such an incredible hotel to stay at, the staff was so friendly, everything was clean and well kept and the neighborhood that it is in is the best with so many wonderful eateries and everything within walking distance. The staff also went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything that I needed.

One staff member could so visibly not care less it made us uncomfortable, while we tried to be as polite as possible. Luckily the others were very nice and helpful. One thing that would have been good to inform at check in was that you need to lock the rooms with your key, both from the inside as well as outside when leaving the room. That is not exactly a common practise in hotels, not unheard of, but not common. Also, didn't really feel safe as there is no 24/7 reception and the gate nor the backdoor do not lock automatically. Anyone could've come check out the hallways at night since no patrons locked them behind them (again, no one said we should). Room quality seems to vary massively. My room was nice, clean and spacious - my friend's was smaller and the bathroom smelled of sewage, and from what I gathered from earlier comments some rooms can be much worse. The station is close, the area has a certain vibe which is charming, however I would not want to walk out alone at night around there.
