Expensive for what it is. Hydro jets are not strong enough to do a massage (it’s more like a relaxing sensation), and on the second day of our stay, the jets were not working. On the bright side, one pool is very cold and the other hot, so it was a good experience The hamman experience was weird. It smelled strange inside which made it difficult to use, but the sauna was good! We picked the double room seaside with a terrace. We found the room a bit old, the bed was very comfortable but the furniture had seen better days. The whole room was not dirty, but the walls had some stains (hence the 3 stars)

When we arrived at this hotel, it was very unclear where we were meant to go or park, there seems to be two entrances, one to main reception and one to the car park, but it is not well lit and we drove round for a bit trying to work out what to do so I went in to reception, where I then waited for ten minutes as there was no one around, at about 6pm, so not exactly late. A lady finally arrived, and checked us in. We asked about parking and were told we could use the public car park out the back, which is on the seafront, or use there private gated car park which she gave us a code for. So we drove back up the road to their car park, got in and parked up, to find that there isn’t a pedestrian exit! It was drizzly, very dark, and we had to push past a wet bush to exit. The room was ok, nothing special, and the ‘beach front’ is the other side of a large car park. The cleaners only flick the hoover round, no refill of tea/coffee etc and the breakfast option was extremely expensive so we didn’t bother. The Thalasso Spa was lovely, with plenty of options to keep you busy for an hour or so, but everyone walks through the hotel dripping wet so lifts and floors are slippery, and there were a lot of kids, and a lot of people not wearing caps if no staff were around, so it was a bit of a free for all! We stay in many hotels in France every year, this one is just expensive for what it is, will not return. Needs new carpets and modernising.

Séjour agréable sous une forte chaleur L’absence de climatisation dans les chambres est un véritable problème Un frigidaire laissé par terre, un ventilateur bas de gamme et pas du tout de bureau pas de machine à café Les équipements de Thalassothérapie ne fonctionnaient pas correctement. Un petit déjeuner avec des équipes dépassées et des manques permanents de produits et aucun produit maison Un très bel emplacement qui demande un véritable renouveau et dont le prix des chambres n’est pas justifié.

J’ai fait un séjour très agréable. Hôtel très bien placé tout près de la plage. Elle est thalasso n’est pas grande mais très fonctionnel et très agréable. Le personnel ont été tous très charmant. La chambre était propre. Peut-être juste le petit bémol parce que nous étions en phase de canicule sans clim. Mais grâce à la région les nuits sont un peu plus fraîches et nous avons plus rafraîchir la chambre la nuit.

Je ne sais pas qui a attribué 4 étoiles à cet hôtel. Chambre petite, salle de bain minuscule, sans porte manteau, pas de table de chevet pour poser ses affaires, rien pour poser une valise. Mauvaise insonorisation, dès que quelqu'un passe dans le couloir, on a l'impression qu'il traverse la chambre. Nous n'y retournerons plus.

Bon accueil à la réception. Nous avions pris une suite que nous avons trouvée spacieuse, avec une grande terrasse donnant sur la mer à perte de vue. La déception fut le spa marin, dont nous avons été sèchement évincés au prétexte que nous portions des shorts de bain. Nulle part dans son descriptif sur Hotel.com l’établissement n’indique qu’il y a l’obligation de porter un bonnet de bain et que les shorts de bain sont bannis, situation que n’avons jamais rencontrée dans aucun autre hôtel balnéaire dans le monde, encore moins dans un 4 étoiles. On se serait cru dans une piscine municipale. Le petit déjeuner est ordinaire et sans intérêt. Quant aux environs, absolument rien à faire hormis la plage. Il faut minimum 30 min de marche fastidieuse jusqu’au centre-ville de Granville et le peu qu’ellr a à offrir. Expérienc globalement devevante
