Room was comfortable, and quiet. While the hotel is nice, it is over priced compared to others in the area. Service is excellent, and if it were more reasonably priced, would recommend it.

This property was very nice. It had a nice pool area and a very good restaurant. It was on a very small rocky road and we weren't too sure about it until we walked in. The staff didn't speak English but we were able to communicate. It was an easy walk to the beach and shopping.

Luxury Inn La Penita is a great place to stay. It is a short walk to the beach, short walk to shopping, and on Thursdays it is market day in La Penita, and the market is only a short 1/2 block from the Luxury Inn. The inn is in great condition, beds are comfortable. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. Good wifi and good size pool. The restaurant serves excellent food. Fresh ground coffee is very nice. Just remember La Penita is more old Mexico with cobble and dirt roads, but the people are great, the food at the taco stands is safe and enjoyable... Head down the street to Avante's for prime rib or lamb shank, but make sure to reserve your table in advance.

Beautiful new hotel. The room, although a little smaller than your typical hotel room, was comfortable and quiet. We had two double beds and AC. We were pleased to find a fridge in the room. There were no face cloths in the bathroom, but I was told we could ask for extra towels at the reception. The pool area was wonderful, well appointed and peaceful. The adjoining restaurant had delicious food (for breakfast anyway) and very good latte. The staff of both the hotel and restaurant were attentive and courteous. The street the hotel is on is in poor state, but of course walkable, and if you can handle that you'll be ok!

Great quiet resort in the heart of LaPenita/Guayabitos. Walk to everything. We rented the Honeymoon suite and it had all the amenties we loved. We will definately return.

Hotel qas very nice. Pool was nice but a bit smaller than photos implied. Good temperature. Bed was large and comfortable. Room was cleaned daily and sheets and linen changed. Staff were helpful. Only complaint was construction noise behind our room.

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at this hotel. Very clean. Comfortable. Secure. Quite quiet with interior courtyard with lots of fresh air and good sunshine. Better patio chairs that are not wobbly and facecloths in the rooms are our minor quibbles. Central location is excellent with east access to beach, good restaurants, super minis and Guaybitos. We loved the nearby local foods available. Would definitely book again!

The hotel was nice and kept very clean. The staff was friendly. There were a lot of problems with the wi-fi. There were no glasses or bottles of water in the room, and no soap or shampoo. The pillows were way too old, hard, and lumpy. I asked for a softer pillow and was told by the cleaning staff that there weren't any without even looking in a vacant room. The mattresses are very cheap and hard. This is definitely not a "luxury" hotel although it's probably better than the majority by the looks of most of them.
