Loved the bathtub! A real one from back in the day before shrinkflation took over and started shrinking everything. Best price on the peninsula in the tourist season. Being a local forced to go to Anchorage for whatever reason, it was nice to be just outside the overpriced zone. Thank you, Veronica!

We were pleasantly surprised, from the outside it doesn’t look like much but we had plenty of room inside. I booked a room with two large beds for four people and we ended up with a mini apartment. We had two bedrooms a. Nice size bathroom and small kitchen with a full size fridge. Also a mini living room area with a futon couch if we would’ve needed more sleeping space. The owner also let us do a couple loads of laundry for free. I thought that was super nice. This has been one of our nicer stays while on this Alaskan adventure. It was also nice and quiet, very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!

Quarto muito bem aparelhado e limpo. Localização afastada de Anchorage, mas interessante pra quem quer conhecer Whittier e Seward. Preço alto, mas dentro dos parâmetros do Alaska.

This motel is more than we expected. We were just looking for a convenient place to stay outside of Anchorage. I would choose this motel again anytime. We were able to park outside room and conveniently organize the stuff. They have automatic keypad doors which made check in very safe and easy. The room was well appointed with extras like soaps and coffee. The beds were comfortable and clean. I will make this one a must stay if you are looking for something right outside of Anchorage.

overall I find the room clean, amenities all work and it is good value for the money. Front office was closed at time of my arrival so I had to call from a phone right outside the lobby office. The phone was answered promptly and I was given a code to end my room. That was neat.

The Bird Creek Motel was clean and comfortable. There was a small issue with the room upon check-in. The staff was very quick and fair in responding to situation. And the view from the rooms is gorgeous!

Beds were comfortable enough, and for a quick stop, this does the trick. The nightstand and other surfaces were covered in a layer of dust, which made me wonder how clean it could be or when the last time it was wiped down. The plumbing was making loud noises the entire night, not sure if it was the neighbors flushing or if there was another issue. Bathroom was the nice albeit cramped. If you’re looking for a no frills, cheap stay, this is great. Check in was easy, literally didn’t see or hear from the property owners except a text requesting license plate.

This cute little motel had a clean basic room, however the beds were very soft and in need of replacement. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine, plus a large fan. We didn't hear any road noise as we used the fan to cool the room. The location between Anchorage and Girdwood was convenient but there isnt much else around. There are however many hiking trails along the Seward highway, including across from the Bird Creek Motel.
