This place is everything you need for a stay in Newcastle. My wife and I stayed on the 17/08/2026 in room 4 as I had a hospital appointment the next day. Upon arrival Gemma was great showing us to the room. Down to earth who you could enjoy banter with whilst she remained professional. Emma behind the bar was exactly the same. Morning service was speedy and the lady present(sorry no name) was spot on. We will return. As Gemma said, cash is king………….the place was well priced for the service received. Cheers all.

Nice, friendly hotel / pub

A Warm welcome, pleasant clean room with a bit of road noise from.the bathroom window but this was fine with the door closed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tea, Coffee etc in the room was great and the room is cleaned daily if required. We had a great stay and will visit again.
