Our suite was huge and beautiful. Everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The owner was covering for an ill innkeeper so we got to hear a lot of history of the mansion and the area; very interesting! If we’re in the area again, we’ll stay there for sure.

While the building was very pretty and our room very comfortable, it was not clean. The room didn't appear to have been dusted in some time, there was something spilled on the dresser, and the nooks and crannies in the bathroom didn't warrant looking at. There was also a shower instead of the tub pictured online, which was a major disappointment. Finally, the inkeeper showed up for the sit-down breakfast in the formal dining room in something like a velour pajama outfit and slippers - she was totally incongruous with venue and meal.
