Second visit and a firm favourite. Stunning historical property in really great condition with many original features, providing a magical ambiance. Lovely, well-appointed rooms. Great stay in historic building.

Lovely room , and very spacious. Air con so temperature spot on , bit unexpected in such a historic building.staff were very helpful and swimming pool was nice and warm . All finished off by nice meal in the evening and a fabulous breakfast next morning. With all the history of the hotel with stunning grounds it makes the stay extra special .

The whole experience was extremely pleasant Food was superb along with the attentive staff who were very obliging. One thing that i believe should be addressed is the very outdated furnishings in our room. ie wardrobe door wouldnt close, dressing table not worth the space it was taking up. However it was clean and that was the impotant factor.
