Outstanding service and location for a solid price

It is in a terrific location and was clean and their service was friendly and attentive and the price was very agreeable. the bed was comfortable and although the space is a little limited it served us just fine and I would recommend them to anyone considering staying in San Pedro!

Best location!

I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay. The location is perfect, you are walking distance to everything in San Pedro town, there is a real beach and multiple tour companies right outside. We lost our key and Orlando went above and beyond to help us late at night. Not having a front desk is not an issue, it's all seamless and any issues that pop up will be resolved. We did not have any issues with parking our golf cart despite this area being very popular. I loved staying here instead of the resorts because it just felt like a more authentic experience. I will definitely stay here again!!

Great stay with family

My in-laws, husband, and I stayed in suite 7 for the past 4 nights and it was great! Really great location, very walkable to most things in town. We had a golf cart and always had ample parking spots. There are 2 bars literally within a stones throw to grab food or drinks. You can hear the live music from Palapa bar on the balcony, but surprisingly not from inside. That being said, the walls are pretty thin, so if you have people staying beside you, you will most likely hear them at some point. The water pressure is pretty minimal and the water takes a bit to heat up, but otherwise no complaints! Check-in was super easy and the directions were simple. There is no where to store bags if you want a late check out or early check in btw. It really depends on if they need your room to get ready for the next guests. So try to plan your arrival/depature times around 3 for arrival and 11 for departure. Otherwise, would definitely recommend!

The Palapa House was in such a perfect location! Somehow still super quiet and peaceful, but central for walking to almost anywhere in San Pedro. The bed was super comfortable. We messaged a few weeks prior to our trip and got recommendations for a rental golf cart and were able to arrange that for easy airport pickup and use during our trip--so helpful!! And the morning of our snorkel tour, all we had to do was wake up, make some coffee, and walk literally across the beach to Chuck & Robbie's Dive Shop.

the property was clean, the bathrooms functioning and the sheets clean. The kitchen was clean but did not have a stove, there was a microwave and a coffee machine. I had to buy my coffee, sugar etc. The beach area needed a little attention, but not usable. We had to go to the Palapa bar and grill for a swim, drinks and food. Eating out gets very expensive, my advise is to go nearby on the street and find a good local hole in the wall and eat very good cooked meals cheaply. We ate regularly at Yoli's Deli, I highly recommend it.

We had a great time staying at Palapa House. Everything you need is within walking distance . So many restaurants with great food and drinks. You can't go.wrong at any one. . The rooms are very quaint and clean. Just the basics but that's fine because you shouldn't be spending time in your room on your vacation. Highly recommended and trying to plan our next trip this year . Clara and Orlando are the best on the property and will take care of all your needs. distance.

This is a great location! You’re close to lots of bars and restaurants. However, the bed had dirty linens when we arrived, the sheet had a large brown stain. The house rep came and changed out the sheet right away but left the dirty sheet in the living room. It made me nervous that the cleaners left such a dirty linen on the bed. It made me wonder what else they skipped out on cleaning . The home itself has everything you need, but it is quite dated and does not have much sunlight (we were on the ground level, it might be different if you’re not). Also, in a place where you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet, I think a garbage can with a lid is essential in the bathroom. There is a trash can in the bathroom, but it does not have a lid. Check in was a breeze and communication with the house representative was quick and easy. Overall, not a bad place for the cost.

We had an amazing 7 night stay. Priced just right. Safe and Convenient to all our excursions, waterfront restaurants, downtown, supermarket and the water taxi. Room was comfy, air conditioning was top notch plus ceiling fans. Staff was friendly, Orlando checked on us almost everyday to make sure we didn’t need anything. The sunrise views from the balcony are awesome!

I really enjoyed this property! There were a lot of restaurants to chose from in walking distance. The Palapa House was very clean. Orlando and Clara who take care of the property are very nice and very helpful! (THE BEST) There is an amazing veiw of the ocean as soon as you open the blinds! I highly recommended this place if you come to San Pedro!

This property was great. It was very close to downtown San Pedro, but was on the beach side so it was very quiet. Great view of the sunrise ower the water. We rented a golf cart and were able to park right in front. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. This not a normal hotel, there is no onsite receptionist. They give you a code to a lock box to get your room key. There is a property manager that we saw taking care of the property several times. The only issue we had is check in was 3, and when I booked, they emailed me that there was an option to leave our bags if we arrived early. I let them know we would likely arrive about 12:30 and they emaield me that I could get my key early and drop my bag in the room if it was not ready yet. When we arrived there was no key in the box for us. I called the not that I was emailed and was posted by the lock box, but no answer. There was a group a girls getting ready to leave and they messaged the guy on Whatsapp for us and he came by about 10 minutes later with our key. no big deal, the rest of the stay was great. He said he didn't answer my call as he didn't know who it was, but will answer whatsapp. He should answer both as we didn't have access to whatsapp yet since we didn't have the wifi password yet.
