Es un hotel con buena ubicación, sobre la playa, muy buen diseño y decoración, habitaciones cómodas y grandes. Los alimentos son de buena calidad. El área de de mejora que tiene este Hotel, es el servicio en restaurante. Tienen muy poco personal, ya sentados ¡tardamos más de una hora para que nos sirvieran el desayuno!. Aunque la persona que nos atendió, fue muy amable, obviamente no puede atender todas las mesas una sola persona. Por otro lado, estaría excelente que pusieran enfriadores pequeños en las habitaciones, para poder conservar las botellas de agua fría.

Great hotel in a quieter part of Tulum! Welcoming staff who were helpful throughout our stay. Clean room, lovely restaurant and beach bar. Highly recommend for a more relaxed experience in Tulum.

A Slice of Paradise at Coco Unlimited

From the moment we arrived at Coco Unlimited, we knew we were in for something special. Nestled right on Tulum’s stunning beach, this boutique hotel strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and understated luxury. The atmosphere is dreamy, laid-back, and effortlessly cool — exactly what we were hoping for. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and just steps away from the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee on our private balcony was pure magic. The staff deserve a huge shoutout — warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile. Whether it was organizing bikes, dinner reservations, or just making sure we had everything we needed, they made us feel like VIPs every day. The on-site restaurant and bar were also excellent. We enjoyed fresh, flavorful dishes (especially the ceviche!) and some of the best margaritas in Tulum, all with our toes in the sand. Location-wise, you’re in the heart of the hotel zone, surrounded by great beach clubs, restaurants, and boutiques — but Coco still feels like a tranquil escape. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and truly authentic Tulum experience, Coco Unlimited is it. We’re already dreaming about our next trip back. Gracias, Coco Unlimited — hasta pronto!

Needs a little TLC

Started a little confusing due to misinformation on payment by Hotels.com but it was handled properly The hotels needs lots of maintenance and rooms need better cleaning. We had a night where bugs were all over the room and had to kill one by one! Overall is good close to shops and restaurants but needs some TLC and fix the sewage smell coming from drains

Wonderful hotel

Well located on the beach zone, friendly and helpful staff, we got an upgrade to our booked room upon arrival - only thing that I didn't like was to always use the little card to be able to put drinks/food on the room, it created a bit of a weird feeling they thought we wouldn't be paying for them, but that's just a minor remark.

Excellent amenities! Loved my partial ocean view as always. It was right on the beach behind the cabanas. The property has changed in the last 3yrs. No more bar service on the beach. The restaurants food changed. Decent but not as good as it used to be or for what you pay. Although the breakfastis still really good! Used to be more regulated to the public and i saw so many people just walk up and use the beach loungers. A long walk to any shopping or restaurants. Scooter highly recommended. Amazing beds and comfortable linens!

À l’arrivée nous avons été bien accueillies par la personne de l’accueil. Nous avons trouvé notre chambre agréable et calme n3 en RDC. Nous avons un peu été déçu par la vue mer qui était cachée en partie par les palmiers et sur 3 jours nous avons eu pendant 2 jours des douches froides. Le personnel du petit déjeuner n’est pas très aimable hormis une jeune femme. Sinon le petit déjeuner est correct. La piscine est mimaliste et manque d’entretien. Dans l’ensemble l’hôtel est très agréable.

Lovely looking property which when booking was really quite affordable in comparison to other similar property on tulum beach front. Good location with most areas on beach zone walkable. Staff friendly. Breakfast good with lots of choice. Huge bedroom with very comfy beds. Bathrooms could do with an update and for the quality of accomodation more widely could do with a revamp.

Great location. Our room was right on the beach with a wonderful view. The staff was welcoming and kind. The food was great and the hotel is located in a quiet part of town and you can easily walk or ride a bike to other areas along the beach.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I had the room with a partial sea view but it was an incredible view and I loved the balcony with the hammocks. The room was clean and bed comfortable, the shower was also great! The breakfast was delicious with good options, the beach was great with comfy sun beds and towels provided. The hotel also hired a bike for me to cycle to the Tulum ruins and recommended some delicious restaurants. I will recommend this hotel to everyone!

Such a great place! It's situated right on the beach; only a 2-minute stroll away. The front desk/reception staff is fantastic. Always willing and able to help and answer any questions you may have. The rooms are basic, but all have a nice sized balcony/patio where you can sit and relax. They have a restaurant on site where I had breakfast 2 times while I was there. It's right at the water's edge. They have very good dishes/options and it is open from 7:30 to 10:00 PM every day. They have a nice outside swimming "pool" (I hesitate to call it just a basic pool; it's so natural looking) as well, with a little waterfall at one end. I wish I could've stayed longer! Next time and SOON!

I've stayed here 3 times over the past two years because the grounds are lovely with great rooms and great views and a well kept beach. The only problem is the service. It's ranged from truly awful to disappointing. The front desk folks can be rude and snippy and the wait service at the restaurant and bar can't even pretend to care. Once I had to pay for coffee during the "free breakfast" just because I wanted milk in it. The security guys are sweet, but literally everyone else acts like you're a burden which is a weird attitude for a hospitality/service based business. If you can look past that, then go for it.
