This will be our go to when driving home from Florida several times a year! PROS - Beds and bedding are most comfortable out of any hotel! Showers, bathrooms, carpet, lobby is all updated and super nice. Great workout room with cardio equipment and whole rack of nice free weights. Has a cute bar area in lobby as well as restaurant with room service. CONS - it is an older building and the walls are thin. People in the halls sound like they’re in your room! Doors are heavy and slam loud, but don’t close, so you still have to pull the swollen door all the way shut. The price point is great but it also brings local teens renting rooms to party. Lots of super young sketchy looking teens hanging in parking lot and in the hallways. Same as the bar area, and you can definitely tell they’re locals. Overall, we loved the hotel for what we needed (comfort) and price! We will be back.

When we first got there and i checked in, the girl at the front desk gave me the room number and said if i go around to the back of the building, there was an entrance and our room was right next to it. Instead, the room was at the other end of a long hallway which was actually a very short walk from the front desk. My wife has lower back and hip pain and this was very uncomfortable for her. The pool had pretty easy access but the gate on our side was padlocked so we had to walk around to the other side. When we got ready to go back inside, the door we came out would not work with the key card. The room itself was very nice, very clean and comfortable, but i tried going to the vending machines to get us drinks and neither one worked. One was completely unplugged. There was a restaurant inside, but we did not try it and instead went to an amazing Italian restaurant next door to the hotel. They had free breakfast the next morning that started at 6am. We got there at 6:15 and the food was already cold. For the most part we enjoyed our stay but this place really needs to up it's game. There is no excuse for sending people to the wrong end of the hotel to get to your room, do maintenance on doors so they'll unlock like they should and if you have 3 gates around the pool, unlock them all. Don't make it hard on people. One last thing, as i was walking in to check in i saw a sign that said they do not accept cash. They need to say that when you book the room.

I stopped here on a long trip and was very pleased. The bed was really comfortable. Despite being near a main roadway, it was very quiet. There was plenty of parking. The fitness center had a variety of options. The front desk clerks were very helpful and kind. Not my first or last stay here. I highly recommend....

Well, I appreciate your efforts at controlling germs, I think it is ridiculous that you had the coffee and juice cups at the breakfast bar individually wrapped. This necessitated opening the sticky cellophane from each before being able to fill up coffee. There were 10 people behind me in line. This is a stupid system.

When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available on the first floor and the hotel doesn’t have an elevator - it’s only a 2 floor hotel so not a big deal. The front staff were not necessarily friendly or helpful. We popped into the bar for a drink and the bar staff was great - very sweet lady. The room was ok but we were right by an exit door and the long-term oil field or construction worker guests were very loud coming and going at all hours. The hotel was ok for an overnight stay but I’m pretty sure we won’t be back next time we visit Marshall.

Hotel looked to have started a remodel but run out of money. A lot was just repainted. Bathrooms were ok but mirror light didn’t work leaving only the single can light for lighting in the bathroom.
