Bloß nicht buchen!!! Wir wollten zwei Tage Karibikurlaub am Astrand machen. Die Buchung war bestätigt, noch zwei Tage vorher hieß es: Wir freuen uns auf Sie. Als wir am Hotel ankamen, war es eine Baustelle. Man schickte uns zu einem anderen Hotel, nicht am Strand, vom Zustand her völlig indiskutabel. Wir sind dann in einem teuren Flughafenhotel gelandet.

The front desk agent was very nice and pleasant. However I was told that the the Credit card machine wasn’t working. And when I went to check out there was no front desk agent available. When I booked the room on Expedia I booked it as an all exclusive hotel but this place is no an all inclusive. This place is way too expensive and not worth half of the price they charge. The main bed was very cheep and uncomfortable.

I love that it is located on the beach. I wish they advised what time they close the beach entrence. Towels was an issue throughout the experience. Also, the food was not the best. I was surprised their food was so flavorless being it’s located in a country that takes pride in flavorful food. This is not a beach to go relax at. This is legit a party beach. It was a blast though!! I also didn’t appreciate that on their beach property so many people can pitch us sales. The outdoor service is also not the best . I once was out there for hours with no one offering me not even water. When I decided to accept food sold to me outside they approached me about it. Overall, it’s a cute location and a decent bang for your buck.

Boca Chica is an horrible and dangerous place , before all fir the women ...There is nothing to do , impossible to go out from the other , it s to dangerous ...all is dilapidated , no road for walking etc ...In the hotel there is no service , no phone in the room , small air conditionned , lights does not work , no towels in the bathroom and no beach towels at the pool ....it s not really an hotel ...they are nice but all is difficult ....same thing to get a taxi

Disappointment

We stayed here in the past and unfortunately this is no longer a full service hotel. We were very disappointed. The location is great but for the price paid this property was not maintained well, room ready but not clean, no dishes, etc.

The stay was great. But there was so much that could have been better. Starting with the amenities. First off, there was no towels in the hotel room at all and each day we had to ask the front desk for some because house keeping wasn’t stocking them at all… then to top it off. Toilet paper which of course is always needed. Most of the staff was great to ensure we got what we needed after asking for it. However, SOME of the staff for the restaurant ( waitresses) were not great as well. One of the nights I went down to eat all I wanted was an appetizer and waited and hour .. after approaching the front desk for the waitress to tell me she believes the kitchen gave my appetizer to someone else.. not only did she not wait for me to go complain but she didn’t offer me a solution. She then came with the wrong appetizer which just at this point made me furious so I decided I didn’t want it after all… that specific waitress gave me issues multiple times. The other waitresses were great. This place would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately it does need some improvement. Overall it was a good stay, but I don’t think I would be staying here again.

The staff was very accommodating from Diego at the front desk, waiters, security John extremely polite, on lunch I asked for an avocado they didn’t have it and the waiter went outside the hotel, bought one for me with his own money and served beautifully
