Ett hotell som sett sina bästa dagar. Rummet var rent men hotellet i stort är bedagat. Däremot är ju läget perfekt med 3 min gångavstånd till färjan till Isla Mujeres. Skapligt pris för det man fick ändå.

You get what you pay for

Receptionist was sleeping on the front desk when we arrived, after taking a few moments to wake up he showed us to our room. The room was not clean, shower water smelled like sewer water and the heat setting knob, in the shower was rusted stuck. The bed was comfortable and clean. Dogs were barking in the alley all night, We also realized Puerto Juarez isn’t somewhere you would stay for vacation. There are no restaurants or anything in this area, and as a gringo I probably wouldn’t be walking around there after dark. The “continental breakfast” consisted of white bread and coffee/orange juice. The pictures show a hotel right on the beach, but it isn’t somewhere you can go swimming. We were planning on staying 3 nights but checked out the next morning for a resort hotel in the Zona Hotelera, in a completely different price range, you get what you pay for. We asked for an early checkout and the money back for the next two nights, but they told us it was not possible, they probably told Hotels.com we fulfilled our entire stay.

Comfortable hotel, near El Niño beach, staff is nice and helpful, well located in puerto Juarez. Breakfast is poor, toasts and “coffee”, some sort of coffee.

Bring your own cream for your coffee

Check-in and check-out were seamless. The bed was comfortable. The AC dripped water from the wall onto our suitcases. What really upset us was the breakfast that was supposed to be included. Not only were there only two high carb breakfast item options, neither of which we were interested in eating but we were asked to pay for cream for our coffee! Seriously!?! A complimentary bottle of water on arrival would have been a nice touch ... and certainly a cup of coffee with cream in the morning!!

Don't tell everyone. We like it the way it is

We love this little hideaway, away from the hubub of the Hotel zone, but near to the Isla Mujeres ferry. Quiet, on the water, with apartment style rooms perfect for us since we were visiting with family. We've been 3 times, never disappointed.

recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The amenities were quite poor, and the breakfast offered was below average in terms of quality and variety. Additionally, there was no room service available, which was highly inconvenient. The cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. The only positive aspect of this property is its location. It’s right on the seashore, providing beautiful views, and it’s just a 2-minute walk to the ferry, which is very convenient. However, the shortcomings in other areas made the overall stay disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless location is your only priority.

Only a place to sleep.. thats it.. skip the shower. Skip the resturant. Got this only because of walking dist to the ferry. Shower was pee warm, resturant was way over priced for rubber eggs. Only stay if we need to be close to the ferry

Casa Caribe was right next to Puerto Juarez pier. Perfect if you miss you miss last scheduled ferry to Isla Mujeres. One night stay was convenient for a late flight and catch the ferry in the morning.
