Medelmåttigt hotell. Slitna rum som var ganska trånga och en AC från förra seklet som lät oerhört högt. Ok utbud och service i poolen. Oengagerad checkin och utcheckning. Bra restaurang på området (BRGR) men oerhört hög ljudnivå. Dock likadant på de flesta restauranger i U.S.A. Nära till egen strand på hotellet . Finns solstolar att låna men inga parasoll? Hade verkligen behövts.

Great location but not clean

It was a great location right on the beach with an easy walk back and forth. They also had a pool. The rooms are tiny. If you have a family of four you need a full kitchen suite. The two queen room didn’t even have room to open up a suitcase. It was not super clean and closer to a two star hotel for cleanliness. But the location was awesome.

I'm delighted with Sanibel, but I've never visited this hotel before. I give it a 100% rating, just to be able to bring my pet. Everyone is very friendly, and the cleanliness is excellent. I just didn't like the stagnant water in front of the pool, which attracts a lot of mosquitoes. Otherwise, everything is excellent.

Beautiful oasis

The hotel was amazing from entering the beautiful lobby to the very modern nautical style room to the beach. They had chairs ready for you to lay on hammocks on the premises a nice Pool even games outside such as corn hole, large checkers game, etc.. and an addition they gave you a shell collecting bag when you check in which you’re gonna need there are tons of sea shells, Sanibel is definitely the seashell capital. The wristbands were an amazing addition. You do not have to carry your money, keys, etc. You could use your wristband at the pool bar, restaurant and enter your room so much easier than the keys and cards. Already planning a trip back with my girlfriends, this trip was a family trip. The restaurant was amazing with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even snacks and drinks to bring to the beach.

Catfished

We couldn’t help but feel duped by images of freshly renovated rooms when we checked into our room and were greeted by a room that needed an update. It appears one building was updated and the other not. Bummer. The good: The front desk staff were friendly, and offered early check-in. There were complementary chairs on the beach. The beach was not crowded and clean. The bad: The room wasn’t as pictured, not even close. The bathroom was tiny and dated with cracked tile. I would have booked elsewhere had I known. The cleaning staff were literally everywhere when we were trying to leave at 0815, making it difficult to get out to the car with our bags.

Surprising Gem

Great low key and well done property. Feels pretty new throughout. Pool area is great - convenience of towel, food and drink service, set right next to the beach and flanked by tall palms, hammocks and the beach a few steps out. Super relaxing. The restaurant on property is solid. Some small things would make it even better like -have sunscreen for sale or in a pump at the pool for guests, the walls are uber thin so you may hear the guests next to you - could hear the person next door snoring - ha….but honestly all really great. Will be back.

Misleading pictures and overly priced

I paid for a room that looked upgraded and the bathroom as well. I paid a lot of money compared to most hotels in the East Coast of Florida. The bathroom was so old and dingy that we left the next morning. We were thinking of staying an extra day but once we saw the bathroom we decided to leave.

The hotel was excellent. The tiki bar service was friendly and created a wonderful vibe. We sat at the tiki bar to have a drink and a bite while watching the beach. Can't ask for more. Next time, we will stay longer.
