Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures was a wondeful place to stay for our visit to Quito. It is located in a great spot to explore the old town on foot, with easy access to the basilica as well as the various plazas and many places to eat and shop. However, the true highlight is definitely the manager Hernan! He is a warm and lovely host that is full of knowledge and is eager to help you enjoy Quito. The breakfasts were also very nice, local cuisine with fresh fruit juices. Highly recommend!

The breakfasts were a highlight. We were always asked what time we wanted breakfast and each day we were greeted with a healthy, tasty and Ecuadorian breakfast and fresh juice. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic Old Town but on the outskirts so there is little noise. For us a highlight was being able to watch the New Year's Eve tradition of burning effigies right outside of our window because it is in a residential neighbourhood. There are many restaurants, convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. The hotel owner host Hernan was another highlight. He was always present, always helpful and had great suggestions that helped to enhance our stay. One of us got ill from the altitude and he was very attentive and concerned. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a personalised experience that feels like a private home and if you want to be in the historic district

Very comfortable hotel with helpful English speaking staff. Very close to all the sites in “old town”Quito but on a quiet street for restful sleep/evening relaxation. Let me start off by saying Hernan was fantastic. He paid such close attention to every detail, and I had a special request for the room and he made it work! He’s fluent in both Spanish and English, which makes him a valuable asset! Every morning we had breakfast and he would ask us what time we wanted to eat. He also gave us a tour of Quito and showed us some of the best sights in town too! 100000/10 would recommend staying here, it was easy and efficient.
