room was not clean when we checked in and took about an hour maybe longer to actually get the room cleaned, had to go the the front desk 3 times about it because no cleaners were coming or they just weren’t cleaning it. the manager did take care of us he was very kind, definitely need to hire better workers though

Property is older, but rooms and bathrooms look updated. Staff was mostly pleasant, but when I checked in my room door was wide open (at 7pm) and these rooms are outside. I was told this was because the room was just cleaned, but there were no towels, no shower curtain, and the bed had black smears.. so I doubt that housekeeping had spent more than a few minutes in the room. My stay was short, so I did not need much. I could not find a vending machine, but there might be one on the property. Spring Break is here, so some people were partying, loud music till around midnight but I put my headphones in.

Staff friendly but not very talkative ,clean room with awesome view of the ocean.no breakfast or exercise room, does have a clean heated pool. Family friendly place The satelite tv channels are just basic channels. Overall it is a great place to stay with cheaper prices . We will stay again when in that area.oh and if get a kitchen room they have the basic dishes needed

Staff at check in was very friendly! Location on the beach was perfect! The view from our room was great! Water in sink took forever to go down. Tub needs an upgrade. For the price we paid $216 total on a Saturday and Sunday night we were satisfied. Woke up this morning to a false alarm fire alarm at 6:15 AM. Walking location to other places was perfect also!

Good price but had to have maintenance fix hot water Wasn’t fully stocked with towels and bath rags and not ever really any parking it’s always full and the tv remotes don’t work BUT it has an amazing pool area and beach access and full alcohol bar at the pool with nice views!! You get what you pay for if you aren’t tryn spend a lot and stay somewhere decent this is the place for sure !!!

Great location and true walk-out beach experience at Chateau Town Marbeau Hotel. Being able to step out of the room and be at the water in about 10 seconds was easily the highlight of the stay. The location really couldn’t be better if your goal is to spend time on the beach. Some rooms face directly toward the water, which makes the whole experience feel even more like a beach getaway. The rooms appear to have been redone recently and felt solid and sturdy. It’s a simple setup without a lot of extra amenities, but honestly the biggest amenity here is the beach itself and the easy access to it. The downside was seeing roaches in the room, which definitely took away from the overall experience. Another small frustration was figuring out the shower. It may be simple once you know it, but you have to run the water hot and then pull down and hold the shower mechanism for it to work. It wasn’t very intuitive and took a bit to figure out. Overall, the stay had some positives and negatives. The beachfront location is outstanding, but a few issues in the room kept it from being a perfect stay.

It’s an older hotel. There are no elevators so you might want to get a ground level room, but it had a beautiful view of the ocean. Beds were very comfortable. The floors were kind of gritty but you expect that on an ocean front property. The first night was great the second night Roto-Rooter was there at around 5:30 PM and did not leave until 12:15 AM and we had to check out and head home that morning. They claimed that it was under construction so they could not do anything about it. What I wanna know is why are they doing construction at night instead of during the day?? one complaint I do have about the room is that there was no phone to call the front desk and no table to eat at or said anything on.

Room was not very clean upon arrival- didn’t smell clean- there was a dirty wash rag by the kitchenette sink to wash dishes- our comforter had multiple cigarette burn holes- we also received a dirty wash cloth for the shower- the overall cleanliness - not great at all. The water was shut off due to a Boil Water Notice in PCB that was scheduled- not a spur of the moment decision for the city. This was NOT communicated until almost 10:30pm- the Boil Water Notice started at 10pm. I was mid shower when the water was being shut off and my son had already brushed his teeth after 10pm before we were notified. Not ideal as guests to not have heads up.
