Aesthetically, the property was stunning. Views of Volcan Arenal and the gardens on the property were next level. The on-site hot springs were also a main highlight. However, the miss for me would be the food options and lack thereof. The included breakfast was buffet style and food quality was okay. As far as dinner options go, there was a reservation only buffet, which was strange. We didn't arrive until late (8:00pm), but was told no dinner options were available even though there was a buffet with plenty of food, and then there is the a la carte restaurant with few options and not very appealing. My recommendation is to stay here for the views and hot springs, but be prepared to get food elsewhere.

Jungle vibes, sweet staff and very clean rooms. But the poolsides were messy and dirty in the mornings. For whatever reason emergency lights went on at 3am one night & would not turn off, disturbed our sleep. Entrance presentation needs a facelift. I’d rate the resort a 3.5-4stars.
