As many reviews have stated this location is okay. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and the owners were pleasant. But it definitely needs work. The room had a musty smell, that o believe is due to the lack of fan in bathroom. There was a coffee maker, but the room was not cleaned while we were out the first day. So nothing was replenished. The flooring, a laminate looked fairly new. Much smaller than the picture looked on line. It is a motel with all the hallmarks of motel. We picked it as we were attending a soccer tournamrnt and the nicer hotels were overpriced. Probably would not stay there again, but it was sufficient, clean and quiet.

Clean, no frills hunting cabin with space heater

Old school clean. I new it was going to be hell of a night once I saw a space heater in the room. No control of heat but a old fashioned a/c , unit inside. I was surprised it was too warm in the room since I had no control of the heat. Too warm for my preference. Last minute stay about it. No frills. Nice old couple running the place. Remind me of a hunting cabin.

Great motel!

This is a no-frills motel, that is clean, safe and the owners are incredibly kind. If you need somewhere to stay for the night, I recommend the Cortland Motel.

It was OK given our reason for staying

We had to stay away from our house for one night because it was being fumigated. This was the cheapest choice. It was OK, but the beds were pretty uncomfortable. Also, every time we heated up water, the smoke detector went off

Simple, dated rooms but more than adequate. Everything we need for simple, short stay. Everything was clean, well cared for and smelled fine. Check in was quick, easy with pleasant, friendly check in staff. Good value for the money. All the basics and located near the county seat so an interesting town (Cortland) with msny dining options.
