Stayed over the Memorial Day weekend and found this hotel to be a wonderful option in a city full of hotels which disappoint. We were greeted by Chris (give him a raise!!) on the sidewalk as we pulled up & he was a wealth of knowledge about the area, parking, & restaurants. He was there to help at every turn! The room (606) was very clean, comfortable, spacious & well appointed. The bed was very comfortable & the requested extra pillows were in place upon arrival vs having to call housekeeping in most hotels. The wraparound patio gave us great views of the Seaport & Brooklyn Bridge. The area was quiet, safe & while street parking was limited, we were able to save a few bucks by waiting for a spot instead of using the iPark garage just a block away. The Urban Cove Society restaurant was cozy, the waiters were friendly & accommodating, the food (burger & korean hot chicken) were very tasty & the drinks fantastic. Overall a short but excellent stay. Two recommendations - hold bars in the elevator & addition of a single step to better access the patio. Thanks!!
