Really welcoming and helpful staff, we had dinner in the bar and the food was amazing, just be sure you like things spicy if you have the chilli paneer starter, but the clue was in the name and a wee bit of yogurt on the side helped. Great service as well. Breakfast was really fresh and set us up for the day. The only tiny issue was some boy racer using the car park as a race track, but it only lasted a short while and didn’t detract from the stay. Would stay again if in the area.

Arrived quite late on trip from Manchester to Oxford. This was a lovely place to stay and get a meal. The food was really good, and reasonably priced. Breakfast the next day was very good and the staff were very attentive, despite the need to get their children off to school. The room was spacious and quiet despite there being a road nearby.

Very welcoming , the restaurant/pub is newly decorated , very welcoming . Food was very nice and catered for gluten free meals and breakfast ! The cleaner also asked you your needs ! Very dog friendly . I would definitely return .
