Called to confirm my reservation and was told "Yes, I would have a fire place."
Once we were in our room not only did the fireplace not work, but neither did the tv.
It was a great price, but I feel we should have been told that at check-in
Or when I called to confirm. I would have stayed elsewhere, only due to us wanting a fireplace.
One staff member in the restaurant wasnt pleasant. We were told we couldnt have are drinks with us while we were looking at the river. We were told to stay on the hotel side, unless we bought from the restaurant.
So when we come back to order nobody was serving us.I had to go inside to the bar myself to order and then go back to pick it up myself.
I mentioned this to her and she said just come back in 10-15min. Still not understanding that the waitress was avoiding us.
Lovely view, great remodel on the first floor frim the hurricane.
Will not be back though
