Great friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable staff. Overall happy with the accommodations. Slept comfortably. I would recommend and stay again. I wish the basement rooms had windows that were more accessible to open for fresh air since there's no AC. Bathroom showers could use a better scrubbing in the corners. There were cob webs & long leg spiders. Spider & cob webs in the corners of the room too.

Check in was quick and easy, bathrooms were clean, beds were as comfy as you expect beds to be in a dorm room. Plenty of plugs for your electronics which was nice. Definitely will consider booking again!

Nous avons été accueilli avec le sourire et avons très bien dormi! Les chambres sont bien insonorisées, quoi que les portes le soient moins (on entend si des gens parlent dans le corridor, mais on n'entend pas les voisins dans leur chambre). Pas de climatisation, ni de ventilateur, alors il peut faire chaud en canicule. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

This place is cheap which is great. The room was very hot and stuffy. Hard mattress. The bathroom is down the hall and for all genders. I didn't want to shower while someone is pooping a few feet away.

기숙사 건물에서 숙박을 했는데, 상당히 편한 방이었고, 청결도도 상당히 좋았습니다. 공용화장실도 쾌적하게 유지되고 있었고, 다만 드라이기는 반드시 본인이 챙겨가야 하는 숙소이니 참고하시길 바래요.^^

I made reservation in April. My room was at Alexandra Hall, in the basement, no opening window, no air circulation. We asked for another room. We have been relocated in the 2nd floor. Floor was dirty, wardrobe doors were difficult to open, we were on the street side, very noisy. So I am wondering what is the point of booking in advance? Is it because I used Expedia I got one of the worst room? Should I have booked directly? Staff were very kind and helpful, happily.

I checked in and left to attend a concert without being in my room more than a few seconds. When I returned, I quickly realized that the heating system was turned on and the radiators here hot. That would be awesome in February but we are in July in a prolonged heat wave. The heaters were overpowering the open window. I had no choice but to leave and I faced a long drive home at midnight.

Une chambre et un frigo. Rien de plus. Rien de moins. Pas d air climatisé mais la fenêtre est grande et s'ouvre de facilement. Possible de se garer devant le bâtiment ce qui facilite transport. Bien pour le prix.

King’s College summer accommodation staff were lovely. The room I stayed in was noisy, not sure if it was HVAC or what; however I the room was clean and tidy. The bathroom showers could have been cleaner. Over all it was okay and a great price for a short stay in central Halifax.
