The room waa relatively clean. The shower was nice. However, it is a dated hotel that needs some TLC. The room smelled musty. The curtains didn't work properly. The price should have been lower for the quality and amenities.

This room definitely served the purpose that I rented it for. We came into town for the big drag race at brown county drag way. The positives are that it was clean and bug free. The negatives are that the shower leaked water onto the floor, there was no coffee pot in the room, and it was small. (Small didn’t really bother me). If you’re looking for a bed and a shower then this is for u. If you are needing something that you’ll be spending a little time in, this probably isn’t it.

The Green Valley Lodge property was near enough to the Nashville, Indiana area that access to shopping , dining and concert and play venues were easy to get to. The room was clean and modern and parking was handy. We have stayed here several times and plan on staying again in the future. The only minus would be the price of rooms have increase quite a bit…!

We came late, the owner made sure we got into the room safe. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us. It was very quiet. We arrived earlier today and when we pulled up to the office there was a note on the door that had a number to call to check in. We did and they told us our key was under the door mat of the room. That’s fine with me! The room is clean. The bathroom was pretty much spotless which is all I need for one night. If you want a clean room and easy access to outside, this is the place for you. It’s about 2 miles from Brown County Park.

Excellent choice. Charming and clean.

Green Valley Lodge was very clean and well-maintained. Staff was exceptionally accommodating. There’s a complimentary ice machine in the office. Beds had mattress pads and were surprisingly comfortable. Shower had good pressure and temp control. Linens were good quality. I’d stay again Don’t let the fact that it was a motel stop you It was charming and a pleasant surprise.

I really like the way he? has set himself up to. kind of run it like an Airbnb for the check in. Very convenient. and fast. Although he needs to. send emails out or text. to people. that have a reservation. with his phone number on it. And a small explanation of how to check in. Other than that, it was great. Clean room, close to town.

When we arrived the fellow at the desk was preparing to leave for the day but checked us in right away. The lodge is older, but has been cared for pretty well. Our toilet had issues with solids, and the ice machine was locked in the office, so we couldn't get any ice. Other than that, what you see is what you get. Clean room and bathroom. Nice staff at check in. Close to town and reasonably priced. Maybe let folks know to get any ice they need before office is locked? Would stay there again.

The room was clean as a whistle! Very dated decor , like grannies spare room . No attendant on duty . Just far enough south of Nashville to be somewhat inconvient. Too far to walk and the road (SR 46) is too busy to bicycle . I’d stay in Nashville next time . Great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Check in was very strange. When I arrived at the lodge, there was no one there. There was a very faded note on the door with a number to call. In between his heavy accent and the road noise (since I was standing outside) he was difficult to understand. When he found out where I was and my name he told me my room number and said the key was under the mat. The room was nothing fancy but it was adequate. It was quiet even though there were quite a few people there Saturday night. The price was lower than several other places.

It was okay. Nothing to write home about. The location relative to Nashville and Brown County State Park was great. The room was clean, but dated, which wasn't a dealbreaker. The outside property needs some upkeep...trees and bushes need trimming, cigarette butts aplenty. There was no staff available on site when we arrived...we had to call a number and they told us the key was under the mat, which was strange and offputting. No amenities, pool, continental breakfast...no frills. A pretty basic motel overall, but the price was good in comparison.
