Thank you, Toyoko Inn! I have stayed in Toyoko Inn in several cities. This property matched my previous experiences: The service was kind and courteous, the room was comfortable and clean, with modern amenities. Buffet breakfast was good. This is not a luxury hotel, but I find the rooms are more spacious than comparable chains. Finally: directions from Tsuruga Station: I ignored Google directions totake the East Gate and walk 20 minutes. Follow signs to the West Gate and from there, it's less than 5 minutes' walk to the property.

A business hotel in Tsuruga which is the end of the line for the Hokuriku Shinkansen.if you miss your train and get stuck in Tsuruga for the night, this is a good place to stay. A short flat walk from the station. Western beds. Good hotel breakfast with multiple types of onigiri. Efficient electronic check in and check out. Very clean.

The room was okay, a standard sized room with everything you could need. It was a room that allowed smoking, but I had hoped it didn't smelled so much as it did. You should be able to keep these kind of rooms smell free too but maybe it's too much work. And because the hotel was fully booked I couldn't change either. I could stand the smell of course, but I know now that in the future never book a room for smoker... The hotel was nicely situated close to the station so it was very practical.

Well centered Hotel and with car parking (500yn PD). Central to shops and restaurants with a FREE breakfast at the hotel as part of the booking and what a breakfast enough to say we didn't need to stop for lunch. They also had a choice of three free gifts which I picked the box which to my wife was a delight as it was a miniature Origami set. Room was clean and comfortable.

Tsuruga is at the end of the Hokuriku Shinkansen line. If, like me, you end up in Tsuruga overnight and have to wait for the first Shinkansen in the morning, this hotel is a decent place to stay. Level walk from the station, small but clean and adequate room, nice breakfast with several types of onigiri. Mostly Japanese people staying here, but you can use a computerized terminal to check in and out so the language barrier is minimal. There is nothing going on in Tsuruga however. Not even one open shop or restaurant in the morning except the 7-11.

部屋はとてもきれいでした。 暑い日でもあり、エアコンも効いていてお心遣いにとても嬉しく思いました。 朝食も清潔感があり、満足できました。 場所はフロント前の狭い空間でしたが、パックも準備されていたので、部屋で食べることもできそうです。 駐車場はホテル裏口にあるエレベーター式の駐車場で入出庫は2カ所。 混み合う時は時間がかかるので、時間に余裕を持つことをおすすめします。 立地としては、駅にも近く飲食店、コンビニもあります。 スタッフの皆さまは困りごとには直ぐに反応してくれましたし、親切でとても良かったです。
