The whole experience started off bad to begin with. Since i decided to pay at the location , they charged me a pre authorization fee, which was later returned, a service fee of 50 for everynight booked then when i got there they charged me the whole booking fee which was not what Hotels.com said would be the ttl charged. So for 2 nights at this location they charged me almost 500 which they returned the reservation fee (which is 3/4 of the whole room charge) the next day only because i had to go inquire about it, The 1st service fee 2 days after check out the 2nd service fee 4 days after check out. When I asked if I could just go ahead and pay for the room (which would have been 228.00, when i booked it on Hotels.com they confirmed the charge to be 217.00) instead of doing the reservation fee they said no the property didnt allow that. So before checkin they took 171.00, at checkin they took 278.00 the next night they took another 50.00. So overall they charged me 228.00 after all the fees or holds got returned. No where in the booking did it state i would have to do all those fund holds. I was going to pay cash when i got there to the property but they said no the property didnt allow that. When they took the reservation pre authorization (171.00) I asked if I would just be paying the difference (57.00), again they said no the property didn't allow that.
