Nice apartment, great location - sort own parking!

Really nice apartment in a great location in Auckland. Close to restaurants and viaduct - so nice walking. Very clean, tidy - all the stuff you expect. Main note here - and I have been tripped on this elsewhere, and I got tripped here too - says (tick) self parking - this is NOT free. I booked this as a more expensive option compared to a local hotel, but then was charged $30 a day for parking. The parking is also fairly windy and make sure you read all instructions about this. You also need to go down stairs or a lift with long walk back to apartment so probably wouldnt do this with lots of luggage. I thought I had booked parking for my checkout day as I had meetings (whoops), I ended up getting charged $32 (no idea why $32) for my checkout day and getting called 3x to chase me up to clear the carpark no later than 4pm despite paying the day rate. Soooo, if it was a normal hotel - I would expect that to be a no hassle issue and it kind of put a damper on the whole stay which was fantastic otherwise. I hope you now know all about it and have a good stay!

Of course this property is all about the fabulous location and the lovely water views which did not disappoint. The lounge and kitchen were spacious and the bedroom had sliding doors that could be opened up to include this space. A great little apartment situated right among the cafes and bars but remember that will mean a little nightlife noise if you are visiting for the weekend.
