We live there for 2 night, the room is good but the ceiling fan is too old to use and one line drop off when i use it. The owner didn’t refund me deposit because of the drop off steel line…so crazy.

Great spot for Seniors that want to tiime travel!

If you prefer modern, luxury hotels, this place isn’t for you. But if you want a “historic” experience in a motel that’s from another era, you just might love this nostalgic choice! We did. Check-in was a pleasure (but they close at 8) and the room was large and clean. The satellite TV system was too complicated for us to figure out, but we watched free stations on the Roku channel. We loved the live music at The Bullpen, a local tavern next door, also historic with great staff. You can stay at the casino a few miles away for a bit more money, but if you want to time travel to the 50’s in the center of town, give this place a try. Also, several great restaurants located just up the street.

50th Anniversary get away

Fort Verde Suites was nice. Had a kitchen with everything supplied. TV was somewhat of an issue, kept buffering. King bed was to firm for my husband, but good for me. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Very helpful & friendly manager.

Road trippin

This is a very well taken care of older hotel, which I love! Complete wit rocking chairs on the porch. The furniture in the room is really cool and homey, unlike a normal hotel room. Very clean and spacious and well appointed. Short walk to many restaurants and you get10% off your bill at some of them for staying here. I highly recommend this place!

Authentic

We loved our stay at Camp Verde, and we enjoyed this motel. It felt very authentic and comfortable. The check-in was seamless. The person at the front that checked us in was wonderfully pleasant. We left something in the room, but since one a road trip, we had already moved on by quite a bit contacting the establishment. They are working with me presently to get it mailed back to me. That’s exceptional service.

Unexpected

One story strip motel- Looks just ok from the pull up. Room was very nice for the price. Thick cabin wood furniture and decor. Comfy bed, clean. Did have a bit of odd odor. I was pleased. Check in lady was super nice and helpful.

1st marriage anniversary celebration and weekend t

I have to admit, i was skeptical when we pulled up to the motel; however, the room was nice and had a cabin-like style setup. They did a good job with the decor and my husband now wants to find a rocking chair like the one in the sleeping area. Also, we ended up with the room that has a kitchenette area which was nice and convenient to eat our meals. As noted in some other reviews, it was very quiet and the staff were friendly. I would suggest a bigger television. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
