Hi, Cong is a lovely village to visit. All the staff I met at Ryan’s hotel were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. I really liked how in my room they had managed to keep some of the original stonework in the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep.

We virus Cong every year and always stay at Ryan’s Hotel. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and very helpful. Ryan’s is right in the centre of Cong within walking distance of Ashford castle and lots of locations from ‘The Quiet Man’ film. We visited the Guinness Tower on this occasion and climbed the stone steps that spiral to the top. Always something new to do

My stay at Ryan’s Hotel in Cong was very enjoyable. The staff provided consistently thoughtful service, and the on‑site pub offered an authentic, welcoming vibe that felt true to the village. Breakfast provided lots of options including hot eggs, sausages, as well as more continental options. the complimentary parking right outside was a real convenience. The hotel is in the heart of the village and you can walk to the Abby, Asheford Estate, or shops and pubs and cafes. The hotel also seems to attract many fishing enthusiasts, which I’m not one, but makes sense as you can easily walk to the rivers. We liked that the hotel was so close to nature trails and the other local attractions. You may need to request a fan for your room during summer since like most hotels in Ireland there is little need for air conditioning.

Wonderful 2 night stay in a quaint village! Clean and spacious rooms. Excellent service with adjoining pub offering food. I was excited to discover that breakfast was included and it was excellent. Michael, the owner, was very hospitable and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
