My review after one week stay...

I stayed at Villas Nicolas for a week so these are my observations. Pros: -Quiet and adults only -Location right on the main road -Large units with balcony and kitchen -Possibility to see wildlife like monkeys sloth and macaws from balcony Cons: -I paid for a ocean view but it isn't as depicted online. Its a partial view with most of it obscure by the forest. -Comes with a kitchen but no tea or coffee provided -Unit is very dated and in need of a reno. Our door lock knob didn't even lock unless the key was used to lock and unlock. -I understand we are in the forest but the unit is full of insects, bathroom and kitchen had tons and found some on the bed as well. -Breakfast is basic with 2 options only. Rice, eggs and fruits or 2 small pancakes. -Booked a queen bed but got 2 double beds. Bed was loud and wood frame made a lot of noise

Great place, very friendly staff. Clean and well located near plenty of restaurants and bars. Nice small pool. You feel like you are in the jungle with wildlife, it’s great. Place feels safe. A bit more variety with included breakfast would be nice. If you get room 5 or 5L be ready to walk up and down a few stairs.

We liked this hidden gem of a property. It was easy and the property was beautifully laid out with plenty of landscaping and wildlife in and around it. Staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. Had plenty of privacy, and centrally located. Rooms were cozy along with covered and open porches overlooking the Ocean. Beautiful view!!!! We would have liked to have had at least a microwave in the room to couple with the coffee maker and fridge. Also, we would have liked the porch door to have had a lock on the door as well, not just the room. We had the free breakfast and it was excellent, but was surprised we had to pay extra for a few slices of bacon to go with it. Im not sure, but they said the bar area might be open sometimes but we never seen it open, would have like to had a drink bedside the beautiful pool they had. Overall, we would definitely come back to this place in the future, Thankyou for letting us stay and check your place out!

Excelente opção.

Atendimento impecável, sempre solícito e com simpatia. O café da manhã poderia ser mais variado, porém é bem feito e com horário a partir de 6:30. Vale destacar que pode ser necessário passar por alguns lances de escada para chegar ao quarto. Não foi incômodo porém pode ser para algumas pessoas. Localização próxima ao Parque, restaurantes, mercado, e longe da confusão de Quepos.

Very kind staff, the pool is a tad deeper than one would anticipate but was sup lovely to float around in after a long hot day; yummy breakfast freshly cooked for you; great view of the ocean; beautiful macaws flying around AND a/c! Would stay here again no hesitation!

Beautiful grounds with many plants and we saw so many animals on the property!! Macaws living in one of the trees for years, a sloth was living right outside our balcony and many monkeys constantly traveling through. Pool was nice. Nice to have breakfast included. Just note some rooms have many stairs so probably not great for some older people.
