不怎么样的旅馆，按摩店改的

旅馆就是按摩店空出的房改造的，床铺-就是按摩的台子和垫子，硬的好像睡在地上一样，还小，根本无法翻身。

Beware of making a last minute booking

After making a last minute booking (in the airport immediately after arriving in Chiangmai), arrived to find the place closed up with no staff working. Someone that was staying there explained that the staff goes home after a certain time, but called the owner for me. She said that there were no rooms available and she had forgotten to block off the dates on the Orbitz system. Luckily the same helpful guest knew of a place nearby that was very professional and accommodating and gave me a room at a similar rate. The owner promised to refund my money by 9am the next morning. The next day my refund hadn't been processed so I went back to Porwa House in-person. I still needed a place to stay so I thought there must be a way for us to work it out between ourselves. They told me I have to go through Orbitz for the refund, which meant spending MY time to call Orbitz and deal with their customer service people. Then they offered one of the spa massage rooms with no a/c at a rate that was, in my opinion, laughable. This showed me they were not serious about making things right. I also witnessed the staff being very argumentative and defensive with a spa visitor that had made a massage reservation they had forgotten about. In all this process, I did get a look at a couple of the rooms. They were sparse, but clean. Unfortunately that's about the only good thing I have to say about Porwa House.

The hotel owner and staff

This is my second time at this hotel and sure I will come again and again since the owner is so kind an very helpful, staff also very friendly and very supportive. I am strongly recommend anyone who love a cozy place to try this hotel.....it’s great.

comfortable house and was happy to stay peacefully

nice guest house with healthy spa massage. It was so great to be stayed 3 nights in here. The building is built in this year that I heard. That's why all things are new and very good even an air conditioner. Location was not bad. It is near tapae gate and I could walk toward to night bazaar. Reception woman was beautiful and welcomed me with her gorgeous smile. Whomever using Tuk Tuk or UBER, tell the driver that location is Porwa Spa because the porwa guest house is under the porwa spa. I also had massages and it was pretty good. Foot-neck-shoulder 1hr massage was 250bath. I will come Chiang Mai again next year in this same guest house, Porwa. I love Chiang Mai and I won't forget the memories stayed in here. It is very peaceful and calm :)
