I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, had a very mixed experience.
On the positive side, the bed was exceptionally comfortable—larger than a standard king—and the pillows were great. That was truly the highlight of the stay. The location was walking distance to the old downtown (sadly in the area are a lot of homeless:()
However, there were several issues that made the experience stressful. The first one was quite shocking: upon returning to our room one evening, we discovered that absolutely all of our belongings were gone. Our luggage, clothes, IDs, passports, visas, jewelry, and even items from the minibar, bathroom and drawers had been removed without our consent. We always left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door (we don’t like staff entering when our belongings are scattered around), and we had not requested any room change. Yet, the staff later explained they had packed everything in black garbage bags, closed our suitcases, and placed everything in a common luggage storage area, claiming it was because “we had asked to switch rooms”—something we never did. Walking into the room with our regular keycard and finding it completely empty was extremely stressful and unsettling.
Because this happened late at night, we decided to stay instead of looking for another hotel. The only compensation offered was one free day of parking, which felt very insufficient given the seriousness of the incident, but we accepted it just to have peace and quiet for the remain
