Beautiful room - horrible service.

The cottages are clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The food in the restaurant was good - but the overall property needs a lot of love. The area is not walkable at all - you need a rental or to taxi everywhere. The service here was horrific - the hotel and restaurant staff were absolutely rude and not accommodating of anything in any way. If you’re expecting to be treated like a human being - better be ready to pay for that wish cash or stay elsewhere.

Beautiful stay

The hotel arranged the pick up for us, the driver was punctaul and polite. We were taken directly to the cottage which was exactly how it’s looked in the photos and described. Clean, fresh, lovely. Stunning views, lovely bedding. Small touches that made such a difference. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our every request. Both receptionists were great especially Ronecia who is a diamond. The gym is good, pool lovely. The tennis court was undergoing some form of work which was disappointing as we love to play and it was not stated on the website. Restaurant food was tasty and the menu was great to accommodate most dietary needs. The bar had an international selection of drinks on offer. I look forward to returning and I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for a peaceful beautiful break. Thx

The first day we arrived went to eat, came back and we didn’t have any water it was around 6 pm. Since the reception employees leave at 5:30 pm, there was nothing we could do. The called the numbers we were provided by the hotel and no one answered. We had to use the 2 water bottles in our room to shower. The next morning we needed to thoroughly shower and had to use a DIRTY cottage (someone else’s) to shower. A little after they finally got the water to work in our cottage - it started working around the afternoon. That day 5 pm rolled around and no water again. Instead of enjoying our vacation we were stressing about everything. The only person who helped us with our issues was the hotel maintenance guy and that was about it. To top everything off on out last day we decided to eat a quick snack at the restaurant at the hotel- it was around 2 pm. We sat down, looked at the menus and then the waitress told us the chef wasn’t in and she wouldn’t be able to serve us some of food we wanted. The only restaurant on the property and they had either limited or no options - also mind you every other restaurant is at least a 15-20 min drive from the property. I wouldn’t go back here for free …. Not sure why this place has 9 stars.

The property was clean and the place was beautiful. I highly recommended a mirror at the top of the hill to see traffic when driving out of the property. I did not appreciate the staff texting me telling me to hurry up because someone is waiting for the room before 11a and the check-in time is 3p. Lastly there are no outlets for American chargers and I asked the staff about it… a guy told me he would bring one to the room and he did not. So I had to charge my phone off the property everyday.

What I love about the hotel was the view. The room was large and clean and the patio very nice. What I must say they need to improve on is the property grounds. It could use a little bit cleaning up and the roof tiles needed to be cleaned. The pool area lacked everything, there were only two chairs. There were no umbrellas to shade from the sun and there was nothing to do by the pool not even music playing. The gym was very nice however there were no paper towels provided to clean the machines or towels provided for your workout. I asked the staff more than once and nothing was done. However, if they improve on those items I’d definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was terrific - beautiful view from the large terrace, comfortable bed, large and well designed bathroom and nice amenities. The restaurant was also really great - really nice well made food. The only downside was that the website advertises a beach - which there is not. Having access to the ocean for a swim was an important factor in choosing the hotel so that was a disappointment. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Beautifully updated accommodations; loved the layout of the room and the view from our balcony. Could prepare a simple meal in the small kitchen if so inclined. A couple items which could be improved: bathroom drains were slow draining and the shower floor was slippery (a rubber mat for the shower would prevent slippages).

The staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet , clean and well kept. The hotel provided basics such as toiletries , beach towels, bathing towels , hair dryer, fully stocked kitchen & complimentary water. I used cab services to get around but everything was close by car. Definitely would stay there again.
