Lorraine runs a wonderful place, with wonderful breakfast, free parking in the back alley and immaculatelty clean rooms with extremely tall ceilings. The location is great, 5 mins to the Finnieston high street restaurants, and about a 15 min walk to the Scottish Event Campus/the Ovo. Highly recommended!

Very large room, simple but nice styling. Good bathroom with bath and shower. A large lounge which guests can use, with a range of books, magazines and games, and a fridge where guests can store things if they need to. Complimentary Baileys available as a nightcap. Lorraine was a lovely host, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was sgokd.

Loved, loved, loved this place! It was like stepping back in time. Rooms are huge and very well decorated! Lorraine, our host was so considerate. Breakfast was very good and it was unique being served in our room. The morning we left, we were departing prior to breakfast being serve and she offered to send us with a lunch. We told her that it wasn’t necessary and she still brought us bagged cookies to take with us. She had good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. I would definitely want to come back here and stay longer. Two nights was not enough.

The place is absolutely one of cleanest place we have ever traveled; I would rate it 10/10; the owner is very friendly and helpful; breakfast was fantastic and well organized. Very quiet neighbourhood and easy access to great dinning place and Glasgow city centre. The only small downside would be very weak WIFI if you are travelling for leisure then who-care but if need to do business then you will have Challenge!

Lorraine is a brilliant host. The accommodation is beautiful. This is Lorraine’s home so she does have rules (shoes off at the door for example) but that’s fair enough - it wouldn’t be as stunning otherwise. A wonderful stay and Lorraine is so knowledgeable about the area too.

Lorraine was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She greets you the minute you arrive and gives a rundown on how everything goes. She gave us a map with some recommendations of things to do and places to eat. She also makes breakfast every morning and you have more than enough options so you can get something different every day. We will be staying here every chance we get.
