One of the best places I’ve stayed. I like it so much I’m here on a monthly visit for work.

Awesome quaint little hotel/bar, friendly/helpful staff. Priced very reasonably, room was largely no-frills but had a real nice tankless water heater for the shower. Owner went above and beyond helping me try to resolve the comedy of errors that resulted from KLM losing my bag. Would stay again

Pleasant enough stay but lack of space in restaurant on Saturday night meant dining in my room.

Lovely large room for travelling with dogs. Very good food in the pub. No parking, but there is nearby parking available. Booking via Expedia the hotel did not get the info that we were travelling with dogs, we paid the surcharge and had a great room with easy access to take the dogs out.

Great service and food and a really nice, large, room. Only small niggle was the only mirror was nowhere near a power supply. This should be moved to the opposite wall near a socket so the hair dryer can be used in front of it.

We were only there for one night and their restaurant was busy for Mothering Sunday, but they fit us in and all the food was great. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. This inn is tucked into a small space on a narrow one-way street; there is free parking available but not at the inn. We parked in a small alley to unload luggage and had to move the car. There is no elevator. The building is old but the rooms were nice with adequate space and updated plumbing. It compares favorably with other small, quaint inns we have encountered on our trip.
It is a ten minute drive to Glamis Castle which was our sole reason for being in Kirriemuir.
