Good sleep and internet, but disappointing service

Our stay had mixed impressions. On the positive side, we slept very well – the beds were comfortable, the room was quiet, and the internet connection was excellent. However, there were several disappointing aspects: The breakfast buffet was poorly managed. The staff seemed inattentive and unmotivated. Coffee took a long time to arrive, and bread rolls were not refilled promptly. When new rolls finally came, the staff mentioned that they were actually prepared for the next day. Even at check-in, we were welcomed by a very unmotivated receptionist. Additionally, the showerhead had clearly not been descaled for quite some time, leaving an overall neglected impression. On a positive note, the most friendly and engaged staff were in the technical service and cleaning teams. We would not choose this hotel again.

Unfurnished room.

I had booked a king size bed, at first, they tried to check me into a queen, I reminded the desk clerk I had paid for the insurance on the room and was not going to settle for anything less than a king. There was no towels or TV remote in the room, I had to make two separate trips to the front desk for these items no one ever offered to bring these items to my room.

Pass if you care about cleanliness & getting sleep

I had to use Lysol Wipes to clean Everything ... including the walls and doors. This room was Not clean. The air unit has visible MOLD on it. This would be a great room if it was maintained and cleaned correctly. We arrived at 10pm and could hear the Loud Snoring of a person in the room next door to us. He snored all night long. Walls and door to hallway paper thin. Major calcium build up on shower head. Passed on taking a needed shower. Staff not friendly. A couple positives - it didn’t stink of foul odors or smell like cleaning supplies. The high ceilings were nice and the view outside of the dirty windows were epic.

Not thinking of their employees.

Family came down with the flu, had a non cancelable reservation. But to keep others safe tried to simply change dates. And still was denied. Not likely book here again. Staff Im sure would appreciate us not bringing our sick family to be in contact with or clean up after. For changing dates to not even be an option was extremely disappointing.

Comfort and Discomfort

Not the fault of the hotel, but there were a lot of kids running around and heavy footsteps above our room even late at night. The AC was noisy. Breakfast was good. Wish there were more variety of fruits.

Dirtiest hotel in the area

It is so dirty!!! There's a lot of dust on the baseboards right behind the toilet- that means those surfaces havent been wiped down in a long time- DISGUSTING! Multiple other surfaces in the bathroom and room were covered in dust as well. The sides of the mattress had dried fluids on it and the wall was also dirty. The curtains were covered in dust. If you're cleaning properly regularly and vacuuming, there wouldnt be that many particles built up in the room. The Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express are about the same cost (or less) and are very very clean! They wouldn't agree to a refund even though the front desk clerk saw what I was pointing out about the cleanliness. They also showed me into another room to see if it was better and she saw it wasn't. I paid for 4 nights and they knew I didn't stay any of those nights after we left. They also waited to tell hotels dot com that wouldnt refund me until after our 4 nights were up. I'm extremely disappointed hotels dot com couldn't get me a refund from Sleep Inn because I've used hotels dot com for years.

Not going back.

The rooms were good and clean. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting. It was green and had chunks in it and no one seemed to care from front desk help when we could find them. Breakfast was not good. There was unrecognizable brown chunk in the fruity cereal and it had hair in it. There was not an attendant to find any thing. Won’t be going there again.
