We always enjoy our stay at Lakeside Lodge. The reason for a mediocre rating this year centers around the berm of ice that we had to step over to enter our cabin. It made moving our stuff in difficult and potentially dangerous as the entry was impaired by the berm in front of the door. We checked in after hours, but in the morning i talked with a young woman and asked to borrow the ice chipper to remove the berm. She said someone would come work on it. Later that morning a different young woman came and sprinkled ice melt on the berm and in the later afternoon someone came and hacked a narrow path through the berm. We checked out the next morning. On the plus side, we asked to alter our reservation 3 nights to 2 and our request was honored without penalty! We appreciated this. As we were staying in a unit with a full kitchen a dish towel and dish cloth or clean sponge would have been appreciated. And, a broom would be nice. We love the dark sky at night and always feel safe there. We also like the proximity to winter activities, ie x-country skiing.

we stayed here in the summer the night before a trip to the wind river mtns. this is a great little resort with large rooms facing the lake. it’s really well set up for cooking outside (incl a pit for campfires). it was perfect for our needs. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. we would definitely return for a similar need.

Have stayed here with family (multiple cabins for days), always great views and cozy cabins. Has everything you need for a basic stay. I will say this time, the daily housekeeping was inconsistent. We were gone most of the day time and some cabins had new towels, some didn’t as well as the trash service, some taken some not. That is my only complaint, have consistent housekeeping and this place is a five star gem in our favorite town of Pinedale. We always love staying here, def not disappointed in the service but would like to see that improvement only. Would be happy to discuss this further with the owners.

This was the perfect getaway that is secluded, and is a very well kept property on Lake Fremonts edge. Outdoor seating on our cabin deck and close to the lake as well. Definitely recommend this place only 3 miles out of town!

Nice quaint lakeside location. The lake is beautiful and right out the back door (and cute porch) of the cabin. The staff is very friendly and helpful, as well.
