Room: I stayed for two nights, and the room was not cleaned during this time. There is a hot water boiler in the room, but only one teabag and no coffee, which is a bit disappointing. But one could get coffee from the machine in the dining room anytime. Unfortunately the machine went out of coffe during breakfast the last day of my stay. No fridge in the room. The staff were friendly, but a bit unattentive. Ex at breakfast there at times were no bread, no ham, they went out of scrambled eggs. The waterbottle got empty, but nobody filled it up again. Other the positive side: The best thing about the breakfast was the very good fresh bread. (As long as there was enough left of it). Free parking, nice view, nice atmosphere.

Great stay with a toddler

A fantastic one night stay in one of the river view rooms with our 18month old toddler. We had requested a cot and it was all ready for in our room when we checked in. The children’s play area was absolutely wonderful and such a help after a long travel day. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. The setting of the guesthouse is beautiful. The breakfast was okay, not the most choice but it was sufficient for what we needed. Overall, we were sad not to spend more time here.

Charming guest house with fjord views

Great stay at the Hardanger Guest House. We were only there for one night, but it served its purpose well. The property has outdoor seating, a fjord view, and a game room with pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, and an entire play room for children. It seemed very family friendly and comfortable. There was a large free breakfast buffet in the morning. There is also a restaurant that closes at 8pm. The concierge was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. One downside was they were a bit warm and there was no fan. Overall, would recommend this charming guest house!

A most stunning location with beautiful views of the fjord. Everything in the house was top notch and well thought through. The kitchen had all the necessary gadgets, utensils and crockery. The living room had very plush comfortable sofas. The beds were comfortable. The linen and towels were clean and neat. The only thing that was a bit odd was that such a big house for 8 people had only 1 bathroom. There were 2 toilets though, which is a good thing. Parking place just next to the house. Overall, I would still give it a 10/10.

We had a greate stay, but the breakfast restaurant was a pity wiev... No tables were cleaned or dishes removed while we ate breakefast, so soon the room was full of used dishes. The milk container was simply awful. Still we recomand the place, we have never slept better and the whole plase is nice with a beautiful wiev.

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast was great, within walking distance of the city center, nice walk to a lake with starting point the guesthouse. Nearby waterfalls are also nice. There is a gaming room with table football, table tennis and poule table. The kids enjoyed it.
